Spoiled woman

"Anyway, where's my present?" I asked him. "And where's your present?"

Roman sat up and reached for one of the boxes which had been resting on the coffee table.

"Here it is," he said, handing me the box.

I opened it and smiled happily when I saw what was inside.

"Aww," I gushed. "It's a necklace!"

It was a silver chain with a simple pendant which resembled an eye. In the centre of the eye, there was a small piece of wood with a Celtic knot engraved upon it.

"It's gorgeous. Thanks, darling," I exclaimed, hugging him. "I love it."

He chuckled softly as I kissed him. Then, I stood up and handed the box over to him. He then looked at me curiously.

"Is this yours too?" he asked.

"No. Yours is inside," I stated simply.

He raised his eyebrows and stared at the box.

"Mine? But this looks like a necklace."

"Yes, silly. It's supposed to. And it is. You just don't recognize it yet. Open it."
