Lincoln is sighing, feeling very tired. He strolls into his office and slumps into a chair. For the past twenty four hours, he has been assisting with several surgeries which is very tiring. His father has kept him on a strict schedule, claiming that it’ll be good for his career but Lincoln suspects Daniel is trying to keep him away from making his own decisions.

Ever since Lincoln assisted in Hampton’s son’s surgery, Daniel has been keeping him busy with many other surgeries but not organ related ones.

Why won’t he let me be involved in his work? He wonders.

There’s a knock on the door which makes Lincoln groan. It must be a nurse who’s here to tell him he has to assist in another surgery.

Not another one! He scowls.

“I’m not doing any more surgeries today!” He exclaims. “Tell that to my dad.”

“I think I’m a little more interesting than a surgery.”

Lincoln frowns.

“Jamie?” He calls out. The door opens and the beautiful actress he met at the party enters. She’s smiling at him.
