Missing Puzzle

Nathan is speechless but his silence gave her the answer. Halsey clutches Jo tightly, her eyes brimming with tears. Her daughter has been with her all along and she couldn’t even remember her! The guilt within her is intolerable, her mind in a turmoil.

“Put her to bed,” Nathan finally says. “We have a lot to talk about.”

Halsey turns away from him, unable to meet his gaze. It all makes sense now. He hated her because of what she did years ago but fate has put them together again. There are many things she needs to tell him and yet, she can’t face him.

Every step towards Jo’s room is torturous and long. Halsey is quietly sobbing, kissing Jo’s cheek. She’s inwardly cursing herself for not remembering her own daughter and worst of all, her actions led Nathan to jail!

She slowly puts Jo on the bed, gazing at the child. In Halsey’s eyes, Jo looks like her dad. Beautiful and sweet. She holds her tiny palm, crying.

“I’m sorry honey,” she whispers. “I’m so sorry! Mommy is a bad person…”

Im so happy the truth is finally out. They now have to witk to get those two in jail and drive off in the sunset. I know there will be kinks in the road because nothing ever go smoothly :)

FINALLY... I'M SO HAPPY now they know let's take these assholes down.. but Nathan should know that Halsey is at risk because of Lincoln
