Chapter 22 - Ice Cream Date
Shortly after, Derris pulled up in front of a small brown and white building with elegant lights and drawings of colorful ice cream flavors on the transparent windows.
Simply standing before it made me hungry for ice cream and I found myself salivating already.
"Wanna go in?" Derris walked up to me.
"Definitely!" I bobbed my head excitedly.
"Let's go in then," he slipped his hand in mine and together, we walked into the parlor.
On stepping in, I could barely keep myself from drooling. The smell alone made me feel like I'd died and gone to ice cream heaven. Still in my fantasy, Derris pulled me towards the counter where he asked me to choose the flavor I wanted.
