"I despise him. He always looks after me like I’m a kid. I. Hate. Him." I cleared up to Charlie, who seemed surprised when he heard what I had said before.

"I thought you would say that you like him. That, I was not expecting." He added a chuckle. In that moment I realized that if I ever say them that I didn't specifically hate him, none of them would support me. Except Eva. She would gush over us and die.
