Chapter 37

I opened my eyes and sat up abruptly when I heard the unmistakable sound of the window creaking open.

I searched around the hospital room but I was all alone and Drew was no where to be seen.

I looked up, my heart thumping as I thought of what to do. Then I saw a hand make it’s way through the space and the sound of someone groaning as they pulled themselves in.

I was about to throw my feet onto the floor and bolt but then I saw a familiar head of dark hair.

“Kaden?” I asked stunned.

Surely, he pulled himself the rest of the way in, letting out a groan as he landed swiftly on his feet and dusted off his hands.

“What are you doing here?” I hissed staring in disbelief.

The last thing I remembered was Kaden handing me over to Drew to take to the hospital. I didn’t think he would be here.

“I followed you.” He whispered as he came closer. “Your brother and his friends wouldn’t let me and Silver in to see you so…”

“You broke into a hospital for me?” I asked incredulously.

He cracked a smil
