“Why does this look like a k-kidnapping van?” I asked Brandon in a shaky voice, swallowing my nervousness as I looked around the insides of the black-out van. All the windows were tainted black and the aircon was blasting at high, making the car seem like a mini igloo.

“Maybe it is,” Brandon smirked at me, leaning in closer until our noses were almost touching. “You shouldn’t be so trusting, little mouse. Think before you enter someone’s car all alone. What if I was here to kidnap you and do something unspeakable?”

I sprang back from him in fear, almost hitting my head on the glass window. “W-will y-you?”
