“You want to go where?” Debby’s eyes were wide as she stared at me like she was seeing a ghost.

“Shhh!” I pressed a hand to her mouth so no one else would hear her voice, but Debby just swatted my hand away as if swatting a fly.

Thankfully, Aurelia and Aura were both sitting on another table with a couple other boys, looking like they were enjoying themselves, so I wasn’t worried about them coming back to our table. Monika, however, was sitting beside us, enjoying the conversation I was having with Debby, because aside from me, Nik was the only other person who knew about Brandon being Debby’s cousin.
