Hey guys, I know I keep saying this every month but in the end, I give up and start uploading, but this time, I will be taking a haitus for the month of May, for my own mental health and to give my eyes some rest since I have been constantly working for the last few months, even after surgery. No, I don't have any problems in my eyes just yet, but I do feel like my migraine is coming back. So a long holiday is needed. But, as usual, I won't actually be taking a holiday. I'll just be prepping my chapters for my next update month so that I don't need to start rushing all at once. As for the update schedule, here is the timeline: 1. The Bad Boy's Innocent Obsession- Will be finished in June. 2. Taming the Mafia King- Will be finished in July. 3. The Kingpin's Possession BL- Weekly updated. 1-2 chapters per week. 4. The Bad Boy's Dirty Little Secret- Weekly updated. About 1 chapter per week. So these are estimates of what is to come. Hopefully I'll be able to follow through with my
Chapter 49: Relationship Status?Faith’s P.O.V“You did what?”I didn’t know what I should be more shocked at. The fact that Brandon orchestrated the entire event that led to the sisters hating each other…or the fact that he just openly confessed it to me without caring about how I might react to the news. Was this anything to be proud about?“I did what was necessary.” Brandon sighed, removing his hand from around my neck as he leaned back on his pillows. “If I hadn't, then Julia would’ve continued to bully you, continued to make your life miserable…and I wouldn’t have been able to help you.”This is something that I always found strange. “Why don’t you speak up?” I asked him now, genuinely curious. “Why don’t you tell Julia not to bully others or not to hurt the other girl? Wouldn’t it be better to just speak up and get it over with? To make it clear once and for all?”Debby’s voice still rang in my head from the other day…about how Brandon continued to use Julia to get back at Scot
Hi guys, To everyone who's thinking that I've abandoned this story...I haven't. I had initially planned on updating this story first in June and then my mafia story in July, but there has been a slight change in plans. As you know, inspiration ins't susceptible to a timetable and even brfore June hit, I knew that the story I wanted to continue with first was the mafia one: Taming the Mafia King (which...if you haven't read, please do, I promise you won't be disappointed). So the update schedule has changed and this book will be uploaded from next month and finished in the next month as well...hopefully. My mafia story, I do plan on finishing up this month. So please have patience and bear with me. New updates will be coming soon with a lot more exciting stuff happening because there's still a lot of story to tell. Also, please do leave your valuable reviews. It doesn't matter if you want to give me a positive or negative review, but reviews help a writer grow and understand what
I'm extremely sorry to have to post this message, but I really don't have a choice. The Bad Boy's Innocent Obssession will be uploaded in August. Unfortunately, I'm currently working on three of my Exclusives that haven't finished yet and will finish this month. I cannot get into the headspace of writing a bad boy while writing werewolf, billionaire and mafia side by side. I really wish I could, but it's giving me trouble with concentration. Also, July is my birth month, so towards the end, I'll be going on a short little vacation, a bit over a week, to my uncle's house in another state, so I won't be able to update during that time either. Which is why i've decided to update this story in August, so no one will get frustrated because of the discontinuation towards the end. Extremely sorry once again. I promise this will be worth the wait. So please bear with me. I will give you the best I can next month.
Chapter 50: Family Dinner Faith’s P.O.V “You’re being awfully quiet.” I muttered, looking at Debby from under my lashes as we waited in the parking lot of the restaurant where we were supposed to meet Debby’s mom for dinner. “Am I?” Debby looked like she was forcing a smile for my sake. “Sorry, I must have been distracted.” “Debby…be honest with me?” I sighed, turning to look at her from the passenger’s seat. “You’re not happy about me and Brandon, are you?” “No…no, it’s not that!” She shook her head immediately, but I knew she was lying. “You’ve been quiet the entire ride and I know you’re lying because you haven’t been meeting my eye even as we talk.” I listed off the points I had noticed. “I thought it through, Debby…and I want to give this a try…I really do.” “Look, Faith,” finally, she turned to meet my eyes, but hers were filled with worry. “I am happy for the two of you, especially Brandon. His life had been filled with ups and downs and god only knows how many hardships!
Chapter 51: Eavesdropping Faith’s P.O.V “How much longer do you need to stay in the hospital for?” I asked Brandon over the phone, from the bathroom stall at school. The setting kinda reminded me of the first time I met Brandon…when he was err…let’s not bring back foul memories, shall we? “Maybe in two days, if all tests come back fine tomorrow.” His voice sounded tired. He had to go through a lot of health checkups and tests today, and even though his leg and ribs haven’t healed fully, if his x-rays and scans were clear, then he’d be allowed to go back to his apartment soon. “Are you going back to your apartment, alone?” I asked a little hesitantly. “Won’t you go stay with your dad?” I knew that his relationship with his dad was shaky at best, so I didn’t want to bring up a topic he wasn’t really comfortable with, especially when he was still unwell. But at the same time, I was still worried about hi
Chapter 52: Home Sweet HomeFaith’s P.O.VTwo days later, Bass drove Brandon back to his apartment while I sat next to him in the car; all the windows tinted black so that no one would know who was inside, even though it was six in the evening.Brandon was able to walk without the help of crutches, but the plaster stayed on and he did need support to walk from time to time, but for the most part, he had recovered a lot.The skin that had been singed off his arm was now a light pink, sometimes red, and as per the doctors, it’ll take a couple weeks before it returns to its original color, but they had promised it wouldn’t scar as long as he followed their instructions to the T.As a model, I could only hope that he wasn’t left with any scars that could cause problems for his career. From what I’ve heard via Debby, his father had ordered his scheduled to be cleared for the next four month
Chapter 53: An Almost DisasterFaith’s P.O.VAs soon as I had all the ingredients in front of me…I was beginning to regret my decision of trying to act the perfect girlfriend who makes her boyfriend perfect home cooked meals when he’s sick.Maybe I was forgetting the point that I didn’t know how to cook in the first place?Watching someone else do it was far easier than having everything on the table in front of you and not knowing what to do from here on out. From what I had initially thought of making, I had wanted to go with egg fried rice, since it was a quick meal and only needed a few ingredients: eggs, day old rice from the fridge and a few frozen veggies thrown in the mix.Of course, it was in no way authentic, but it would suffice as a quick meal. However…I had forgotten the fact that Brandon had been in the hospital for several days, weeks even, and there was
