2. The Ceremony

....Flashback....

It was a big day in the palace of Baridoki as omega wolves who were royal maids and servants could be seen carrying out their obligations in their number.

A dark skinned man who was dressed in a red uniform as the other royal guards found his way down a deserted hallway and gently adjusted the black hat he had on.

Whistling gently, he moved past a couple of enclosed chambers before he eventually stopped at the door of one.

"Prince Zayn" His masculine voice was let out and his closed fist made contact with the metal door.

He waited for a while and the non response prompt him to push the door open before stepping in.

The poor guard was welcomed by the heavy smell of alcohol, mainly whisky.

Turning to the giant sized bed that was across, there was the young man covered with a sheet in his sleeping state.

From the position he stood, he could see and perceive the smell of the semen that stick all over the fabric sheet.

Prince Zayn was at it again and this wasn't new anymore, It was a daily routine which felt so normal to him.

Yeah, normal as there were two sleeping unclad ladies beside him at opposite sides of the bed with their melons fully exposed.

"My Prince, It's morning" The guard finally found his voice but still there was no response until the sounds of drums from outside the chamber found its way in through the open door.

Prince Zayn rubbed his eyes gently and a gentle growl escaped his lips.

The rising sun pierced into his eyes through the open window and that made him to rise slowly to a sitting position.

"Wonderful morning, Prince Zayn"

"It's really morning? " His cold voice dragged each word in the sentence.

"That's right Prince, you might want to get on your feet, guests will be flooding into the palace really soon"

"Guests?, that noise, where's it coming from" He groaned while trying to get his little finger into his right ear.

"Your father reached a reconciliation agreement with King Kane of Dakota Kingdom, they'll be consummating the latest development with a celebration here in the Palace"

"King Kane, that old b^stard, I thought he would continue having a fight with our Kingdom. So weak" He cursed and his eyes rolled over the naked bodies on his bed.

"This poor beings are still here?, up you go" He slapped their back side so hard that they woke almost immediately.

"You need us to ride again, Prince" The blonde rolled her tongue as she tried to touch his chest but he slapped her hands off.

"Get your bodies out alive or it'll be dragged dead" He threatened and they quickly rolled away from him.

The royal guard rolled his eyes over their fine bodies as they sharply got dressing and Zayn seems to notice.

"You're on duty, August. You wouldn't want your eyes plucked out"

"I'm only inspecting, making sure they don't steal something" He justified his action almost immediately.

"Very well, help them find their way out of the palace"

"That will be difficult Prince. I saw the Queen at the entrance this morning"

"Damn!, Get them out through the secret exit. Get them gone" He said almost yelling.

"We'll always be available to ride you, anytime you need...."

"Fvck out, I don't fvck same whore twice" He cursed wanting to grab the flower vase that was located beside the bed and that alarmed the two to rush out immediately.

"Calm my prince. I got the situation handled" August appealed as he moved out backward until he closed the door.

"Fvcking whores!" He cursed under his breath again and his unclad body staggered out of the bed.

He grabbed a towel and found his way through a secret door that was at the north area of the room, he moved down the concrete stairs and soon he was before a pool of water that seems undisturbed.

Back at his chamber, the door pushed open and a maid in white uniform stepped in with anxiety written all over her face.

"Hello?"

She looked around as there was no response and swallowed the saliva in mouth.

"I'll just get done with this and leave" She mumbled and moved quickly picking the bottle of whisky that were scattered all over the place, and stacked into a transparent bag.

Moving to the bed, she laid hold of the sheet to pull it off but paused on feeling the sticky substance that had made contact with her finger.

She slowly retreat them and brought it close to her nostril, breathing in gently.

"It can't be what I'm thinking" She soliloquize.

"Are you going to taste that?" A cold voice came from behind causing her to jolt, she turned immediately and there was Prince Zayn,right in front of her.

He had a towel around his waist and molecules of water were trailing down his broad chest which she tried best not to stare at.

" Prince" She bowed in embarrassment.

"I haven't seen you before"

"I started working today " She tried to catch her breath.

"And they decide to assign you down here. So generous....." He moved closer.

"The Guard at the hallway instructed that I get this chamber back in shape, didn't have an understanding that it was yours, I'm sorry, I'll leave..." She apologized wanting to move past him but he caught her by the arm.

"I never asked you to leave, huh" He pressed towards her when a voice that sent cold shiver down his spin came from behind.

"Are you going to lay with her too?"

He needed no one to tell him who was at the door.

"Mother" He let out as he turned to the woman who came in, she was dressed in a royal attire that had precious stones at specific points,and had that look of displeasure on her face.

"Move out" She cursed at the maid who scurried away immediately.

"I was just about to get down there" He tried to put on a laughing face when she interrupted with a slap across his face.

He gasped loudly and raised his head to the cold stares that were piercing into his soul at this moment.

"How dare you bring humans into the palace?"

"I.....I don't know what you're talking about"

"Deny it one more time and I'll drill my claws into that face of yours. The ladies you brought in last night"

"Oh. I was drunk. okay? , you don't have to take that personal, " He moved slowly from her.

"No. This isn't the first time and obviously not going to be the last time. We have a law in this kingdom son, the humans stay at the outskirts and live their lives, they don't come into us. We don't go into them"

"Don't lecture me on the laws of Baridoki, Mother, I am the Prince. I know that"

"A senseless prince who's not even ready to take the throne"

"I'm not going to take your insults, Mother" He revolts towards her.

"What are you gonna do?, Shred me, because you're an Alpha, you're a born Alpha, you never worked for it, you want to go on a wolf duel with me and get to see that you stand no chance, you dare not. Your father will throw you into prison"

"I've heard enough Mother, I won't be degraded by you"

"You degraded yourself already, going in into humans. Do you hear the rumors out there, they call you the slut prince,"

He tightened his fist trying to control his anger.

"Of course they dare not say it in the presence of a wolf but I do have my informant"

"You're stalking me now?"

"Hope your father doesn't hear about this?, you know what he can do"

"You're not gonna tell him"

"That depends on your attitude, don't go in, ever again into humans, you cross that line.... I'll get the King involved" She threatened and stopped mid way at the door.

"And get down to the hall, Guests from Dakota should be here soon"

He watched her leave and immediately vent his anger on the flower case which he smashed against the wall.

"Prince" August came running in almost immediately.

"I saw the Queen leaving" He added with eyes opened.

"Did you get them?"

"I did. You sound upset"

"Someone is tipping mother off, she knows that I brought humans, damn!" He cursed.

"Do not be upset Prince, the Queen has her way of figuring things out"

"How can I not be upset?, every words of hers break me, crack through my soul" He kicked the bed angrily.

"You don't have to go out to get humans. If mother has an eyes on you, I can bring one in always" He whispered.

"That's why you're my favorite, August"

"I've been guarding you for a long time, you're like a brother now"

"You're just a figure, August, I don't need protection, I'm an Alpha" He bragged and they laughed.

"You should get dressed, you wouldn't want the queen coming in the second time, I sent a maid down here"

"And I got a slap from Mother"

"Don't tell me you..."

"You should think better before sending in an elegant maid to my abode"

"I'll get a male servant in then, he told and found his way out.

....A Few Moment Later....

Prince Zayn stepped out of his chamber in his royal garment, the tunic that was decorated with embroidery and gold lacing could be clearly seen.

Almost immediately, the door of the opposite chamber pulled open and a young lady dressed in a blue ball gown marched out.

"Sister Mia" He let out.

"Brother Zayn" She replied almost immediately.

"I understand you don't want to part of this little party they're having. It's written in your eyes, me too"

"No. It was my night, Zayn"

"Your night. How was your night?"

"Don't fvcking ask me that" She poked her fingers into his chest.

"You got your sl*ts screaming the entire roof down" the young lady 0raged.

"Oh. I never knew they were loud"

"Well.... I don't care anymore, Mother talked sh*t into you and I'm so pleased" She made to walk away but he blocked her path.

"It was you. You told mother"

"Of course. I smelt the scent of humans, so strongly, that's my revenge for the bad night you gave me and before you threaten me with your Alpha eyes, mother knows your doing already. You should be ashamed"

"I don't have a mate. Mia" He grinned as they started walking down the hallway.

"Excuse. You ain't even trying to find one "

"Because I don't care. They're nothing but burden.... humans will do for now"

"Not anymore"

"That's right. Mother got eyes on me now, and you're part of this"

"Don't blame me for your madness. Do enjoy the party" She let out as they got to the main hall where guest were trooping in already.

"I don't wanna be here. I'll hang out for a while and of a sudden, whoosh, vanish into thin air"

"You wouldn't dare"

"There's no reason for me to be here..." He was saying when they both notice a man in a king raiment came in through the entrance with a number of guards who were dressed in black outfits.

"And here comes King Kane of Dakota" Mia let out with a look of disgust.

"And who's that?" Zayn asked as he fixed his gaze on the gorgeous lady who was in a ball gown like Mia but hers was red, and she was moving closely with the King Of Dakota.

"Don't tell me you don't know his daughter, Aurora. The fairest in their Kingdom "

"Maybe there's a reason to stay here then" He mumbled in the lowest tone possible and turned to the waiter stopped by them with a tray of wine.

"Did you say something?" She asked and picked one of the glass cup. He gulped in the entire content and dropped it.

"Of course not. Enjoy the party, little sister" A weird smirk escaped his lips as he walked away.
