Exhausted

The couple dropped Clara in front of the mansion before driving away again. Clara made her way inside the house and to her surprise the whole place was crowded with people, especially workers who were cleaning and fixing things up in the mansion.

Clara made her way to the living room in low spirits. The coronation wasn't much of a concern to her. On reaching there, Nimue and her granddaughter seemed to be having a deep discussion and Clara wondered what it was about.

Ahem" Clara faked a cough to get their attention and it worked. They quickly adjusted themselves on the sofa and turned to face her.

"Ah, Clara you are here. Come take a seat"

Something was definitely off with these two. Clara sighed, I inwardly hoping that it wasn't something bad because she couldn't take any more bad news.

"I was hoping I could get some sleep before the big event. Do you mind me staying here for the night" Clara asked. She was tired and just wanted to lock herself in a quiet room and away from everyone
