Chapter 001

A good son, Ice to His Mother. He didn't give any problems to his mother. They may be lack of money or  by something else, but her mother assures her that he will not feel it.

 

All his time, he was focused on studying, returning home from school, eating and taking care of himself, and being a student again. He wants to help her mother, but she doesn't want it. Although she liked to go out and play with the children but had no local acquaintances, he chose to study in the house for his mother's sake as well. He is a consistent top student, even though they always moved home.

 

On the other hand, there is a family that is fighting at dinner but doesn't talk. One woman almost opened her eyes because of what they knew; the other one was happy, while the two other people who were there were unconscious and slowly eating.

 

"Two weeks still that, you're too excited" May Villanueva said like she doesn't care who's coming home. 

 

 

Aira and his father just look at each other but they didn't talk or say something.

 

 

 

"Why should we remember her's coming? She could just come and work for the company. Why do you need to remember and celebrate?" Her sister May said in not a nice way.

"One of the most famous artists and models in the U.S. must probably be remembered because if we don't our family, we're going to be a mass media fan. So think about it," Aira Villanueva said.

 

"I am full, I got to go first." he said, take her bag from the other table.

 

This is the Villanueva family.

 

Villanueva families are respected when it comes to business.

 

Jan was the first of their five siblings. He is wise and can follow in their father's footsteps. May the next CEO. 

May is the second child and is called the old girl in the family. At the age of mid-30, she did not even introduce her boyfriend to their family.

Aira is the so-called perfect child among their siblings, but her mother cannot accept her. She always does everything she can to make them proud of her. Aira Jen is a beautiful, honorable student, a student leader,and a consistent valedictorian. She is also one of the things that is always talked about to take his father's place, but his mother cannot accept it.

Next is Ken, a racist and an athlete. Happy, go lucky, and nice to be with him. He is always with Aira in everything he does. He is also one of those who always admires and praises his sister. He is his idol, but his mother always pushes him away, so he just stays away from everyone.

 

Miere, short for Meriam, is a famous model, actress, and endorser not only in the Philippines but in other countries, so she is still young and independent living in the U.S. He is not used to the attention of his parents because they are far from them, and she gets too much attention from other people.

 

Mrs. Samantha is the mother of the house, but she looks like a young lady because of her fashion and style. It seems that she is not stressed about her husband's business either. Their age gap is 5 years, but her husband, Mr. Villanueva looks older, maybe because of the amount of work and because he is more focused on expanding the business.

It's been two years since Miere left the country. So she will come back and work here in the country. Everyone was surprised and shocked, but Meire didn't care, even Ken, because they knew what was going to happen.

 

Their family is once again confused by people from different stations. The siblings will lose their privacy again, so his sister is very angry, especially May. Because they don't want attention and prefer their daily lives to be quiet.

Their family is complete; they were raised in luxury and did not struggle while thinking and growing up. They didn't have a hard time when it came to material things, but they all had a hard time communicating with each other. It's a complete family, but they don't feel it. Even though they live in the same house, they see each other less often than a drop of rain in the summer. They just got together and got heated.

''I'll go first'' a woman politely said goodbye to them.

Their breakfast ended as people left the table one by one.

While the mother and daughter happily walk to school while talking, they have a long way to go, but their time is still long. So that his mother can be sure that he will arrive safely, she accompanies him. Even if he didn't want to, he couldn't stop his mother, so he just let it go for his mother's pleasure.

Ice is very proud of his mother. Even though her mother supported her alone, she did not lack. Ice has a lot of respect and gratitude for his mother, so he does everything he can to do what she wants and make her happy.

In life, not everything is about money and material things. Not everything is about the complete family. If it's just one or two of you, if you understand each other, it will still be considered a complete family.

 

Even if others base their happiness on money, for Ice, just having food on their table is enough. It is important for him to follow his dream and give his mother a comfortable life.
