Chapter 2

After Patricia leaves, there's more two women who came and go before their lunch break.

Thomas called her again when lunch break came and he requested that she joined him in his lunch. She declined it, and give him a reason that she will have some other errand to do outside of the office, and she will be back before one o'clock.

He just nod, she noticed that he wants to protest but preferred not to voice it out.

Actually there's no errand that she had to do, she just want to make a reason for her not to joined him in his lunch.

She had to leave after twelve o'clock, she just need to go somewhere else, just to spend her one hour break.

After she leaved the office, she decided to go into the nearest mall. When she find a cheap restaurant that she can afford of, she ordered and eat her lunch.

After a while, when she feels that she need to go back at the office. She walked her way to the entrance door of the mall, but when she is about to reach the entrance, some necklace at the the jewelry store near at the entrance caught her attention.

So she decided to look at it, anyway she has more ample time to go back at the office.

When she open the door of the jewelry store, she go near at the necklace. This was the first time that some necklace  caught her attention. She look at the necklace where it can be seen under a special glass in a special wooden box 

She can't believed how uniquely beauty the necklace is, it's very exquisitely done, but the problem is she know to herself that she can't never afford those kind of jewelry.

But since she really want it, she tried to ask how much the necklace is. Because maybe in two months she can afford it already. It will be her gift to herself even if it will be delayed.

But she will try to asked the saleslady how much, maybe if she knows the price she can afford it and no need to wait for the next two months.

The saleslady said with an insulting voice that the necklace cost is 1.5 million that's why its in the special wooden glass box.

Her eyes widen in desbelief, 1.5 million is much for such a simple jewelry. It will take her two years of her salary before she can buy it.

She can't believed it, all her wish to buy it and make it gift to herself were thrown away at the window.

As practical as she is, buying the necklace will be her last option if the price is like that.

That's why the saleslady insulted her, because she maybe sees that she can't afford it.

All she can do is to have a last glance of the necklace before she decided to turned her way out of the jewelry store.

But when she is about to move, she bumped at the man standing at her back.

The man had a broad shoulder, and a body to die for, had a masculine scent that her nose noticed immediately.

But she preferred to ignored on what she noticed and because also she really wants to go back already at the office.

But the man remains standing at her front, he didn't move even for a single step. So she decided to shoo him away.

"Mister please move, your blocking my way.." She said while her eyes is into the chest of the man, that's why she decided to check his face.

Her eyes suddenly widen when she checked the face, it was her Boss Thomas, who is glaring at me intently.

"Hello there sweetheart, shock to see me?" Thomas said while he keeps his laugh to himself.

"Hi Miss,how much the necklace is?" He asked. and his serious tone made me shiver.
