18. Goodbye

She finally breathed when he stepped out of the car. She didn't realize she was holding her breath because of his proximity.

She had her hand on her chest to calm her heart down when all of a sudden the door to her side was pulled open and she barely saved herself from falling out because she was leaning on it. She stared at the man with a parched throat as he moved aside and flicked his head for her to step out.

Her eyes darted behind him and she was stunned to see a royal type of restaurant. And the weird fact was, it was open.

"Come on," He said and she groggily stepped out. And just when he closed the door, she realized her mistake. She forgot to take the gun with her. She could at least run or scream for help while out but in the car, she was just too overwhelmed and scared to be in his closeness.

He threw his immobilizer at the valet and started walking into the restaurant. She darted a glance at the street and it was drowned in silence and darkness.
