Chapter 2

CONTINUITY

All Jeisin's life was conferred of sarcastic, privilege, benevolent, cheerfulness and compassion to people. Since the day she lost her parents, she started working as a salvation army in Spain. Moderately, she was living lonely despite some days that her friend visited her. Her only best friend, Eilisia.

     

     Jeisin was so excited to keep Michael with her in the house. Even though sometimes she felt the solitude and depression, but as she espied at him, all her worries will vanishes away. She was extremely fostering him with benignant_ the way that he will get compose and pleases with people. And sometimes he participate in the house chores which she detested him doing.

Michael enjoyed living with her. As he learnt many things from her about life. 

         One day, Eilisia visited Jeisin. Jeisin was overwhelmed to see her after a long time. They held each other in a warmed embrace, 

"My friend, Jeisin. How are you?"

"Great. And of course, thanks for visiting"

 They have taken a few minutes before Jeisin gently released herself from Eilisia's embrace and welcome her inside. And they started their usual talks. 

A moment, michael came with a tray contained with glass cup of juice and kept it on the table. 

Eilisia looked at Jeisin questioningly before she said "thank you"

And Michael knelt down, waiting for her to finish before Jeisin instructed him "Michael, you may go in".

Then Eilisia turned to her "who's this boy?"

"His name is Michael, the one I told you about. I discharged him from the hospital",

"He has a family?"

"No! His parents had died since. That's even what resulted in him a mental problem".

"Mental problem!" Eilisia shocked. "But he didn't looked like one"

Jeisin smiled and uttered, "he didn't look like one? God helped me to raise him. The first day l took him here Eilisia, he couldn't speak. And he can hardly remember a thing. Some people even used to tease him"

"That's so sad. But, do you allow him to live here"

"What can I do Eilisia. I like to sanct him in my company. Maybe with that, he will forget about the past and move on. I like his habits. He's a good man"

"I am so proud of you for your work Jeisin. When are we going to meet again?"

"Am! In the island. But I like to organize a coronation for the establishment of my companies and our friendship as well"

"Wow! When?"

"Tomorrow".

That's when Michael came back. He knelt down in front of Jeisin as she asked, "Michael, what is it?"

"Please, will you permit me to go out?"

Although, Jeisin released a hard breathe in worried. Then she replied, "Michael, l am not forbidden you but am securing you. Because I hated it when people threaten you. Please go back Michael, l am sorry".

And without rebel, Michael went back.

A few minutes, Eilisia dropped the glass cup kindly on the tray. Then she stood, trying to say  goodbye "well, let me go back Jeisin. But please take good care of Michael as you do because l saw a bright fame in him. One day he will be somebody in future".

"Thank you Eilisia. I will see you again" Jeisin bid farewell to Eilisia before Eilisia left.

Early in the morning, Jeisin was standing at the mirror while adorning herself in her blue scarfs. She gazed upon herself in the mirror before she heard the knock on the door. "Come in" she permitted before Michael entered. Jeisin felted happy in her heart, but she cannot conceal her feeling. "What is it Michael, so early today?" She added before he gave her the phone, "Oh! Hello"

"Hello dear" the caller spoken.

"Who's talking please"

"Don't you remember me?"

"No"

"Are you not familiar with the voice either?"

"Am, l guess not"

"Okay. I am Lewis"

"Lewis?" She pretend to questioned in estranged.   

"Seemed unfamiliar right. I know you cannot forget Mr. Mandrel. I am his son, Lewis"

And Jeisin continued, "l am sorry but.. still l couldn't recognize you" she lied.

"By the way, can you do me a favor with address please" Lewis bespoken.

Jeisin at the other hand looked at Michael before she uttered "First flour, Luta road. At your right hand side, there's a house facing the main road. That's it"

"Thank you very much. I will be there tomorrow okay. Bye" said Lewis at last.

Jeisin dropped the phone after disconnected the call. Then she faced Michael in concerned as she speaks, "Michael, get prepare in your best suits. Today we are going somewhere. It is a very nice occasion".

Michael was enlightened to go on occasion for the first time with his aunt. As he answered to her gladly, "l will get ready aunt".

    He was full of excitement as he entered his room. He moved straight to the wardrobe where he collected a black overcoat, a white shirt with an ash colored necktie and get on to prepare himself.

In fifteen minutes, he was adjusted fit in his suit. Thereby he went back to his wardrobe again and collected his slot watch box. Rather, he found himself confused when he couldn't decide the color of the watch to wear.

 

"Unless l ask aunt about this. She will solve all my problem" Michael whispered in silent speech before he went to Jeisin's room with the slot watch box.

 

      While Jeisin was trying to adjust the zip that stuck in her red flown dress. She heard the knock on the door as she permitted, "come in". Then she quickly took a towel and covered her back. "Oh, Michael!" She called surprisingly.

"Aunt, please will you help me with this. I couldn't choose between the watches"

"Here. Let me see. Well_ both the black and brown could matches with any color of dressings you know. Now.. put this one" Jeisin added in smile as she chose the bronze color watch.

"That's the nice color aunt" Michael aroused in excitement.

"I know it" Jeisin sounded fairly. Rather she found herself surprised and deprive while looking at Micheal. The almond shape of her eyes can't looked away. Michael was well dressed, tall, and handsome with deep blue eyes. He's handsome, mysterious and glut a hollowed. "wow Michael. Have you seen yourself in the mirror. Look at you!".

Where Michael giggled and uttered, "Aunt, you an exceptional aunt. I am always the same to you, your boy".

"Yes Michael" said Jeisin funnily before Michael went out.

And jeisin get back to work.
