Chapter 17: Threatened.

  My head hurt like a million nails had been pierced deep into my skull. I tried looking around me to decipher where in God's name I was but I got nothing. The room was way too dark and I could barely see anything at all. I gave up on trying too hard since it only worsened the excruciating ache I was dealing with at the moment. 

"HELLO! IS ANYBODY HERE?" I yell at the top of my lungs but the only sound I was met with was the constant reechoing of my own voice. 

  The fear I had tried to mask had overwhelmed me immediately and I couldn't help myself from panicking. I tried loosening the multiple ropes that was used to tie my hands behind a pillar but it was almost impossible and since my legs were also tied tightly, I was helpless and that only worsened my panic.  

"SOMEBODY HELP ME!" I yell as loudly as I could again but like what happened the first time, my own cry for help came back to t
