Chapter Thirteen.

  I lost myself somewhere.

Life is funny, isn't it? Just when you think you have it all figured out. After you begin to plan something and you know the exact direction you're headed to. Then the paths change. All the signs you thought you had disappear. The wind blows the other way. North is suddenly South, East is West, your left is right and you're just ... Lost.

This was the end for me. Everything I'd ever lived for, the only part of me that was worth dying for, was dead. I wasn't sure this was a world I belonged in anymore. But one thing was certain. I didn't want to wake up again. It would be best if I'd just died. That way it would all be over. I failed. So it was my punishment to die, because I deserved it.

Lost in my own thoughts I slowly laid down on the dirty ground, and drowned in my misery. It was the end of me. My eyes struggled to obey me as I willed them to fall asleep, into a dee
