[JANE]
It’s like everything was a dream. I’m back here in my office, together with the pile of documents on my desk that I needed to review and sign. Remind me again why I need to be a CEO? Oh, yes, because of my dad. My dream of being a professional photographer is now a pipe dream. How can I do that while I'm tied down here with all of my corporate duties and, of course, with Khali?
I sighed as I stared down at the piece of document that I’ve been reviewing for almost an hour now; I couldn’t focus on my work; my head was full of thoughts of Khali. Something was bothering her on the day we arrived at the airport, and she refused to tell me about it. She won’t tell me about it even if I force her to. I wonder if it’s about me or us.
“Fuck this,” this is pointless. I've got to get my thoughts straight. I wonder if Reese can go out with me today. I sighed again as I retrieved my phone and dialed my best friend's number.
