Allie Carstens:fans self: cold shower coming right up... lol... Just a reminder that as I am off work for the next three weeks my updates may be later or not on the normal days, but I will still aim for at least three updates a week. It's also nearing the end of the book (around ten chapters left!) and the last bits are always trickier to write as holes are filled and loose ends tied up, so I want to make sure everything gets covered and I don't miss things, so they will likely be posted as I finish them instead of on a set schedule. REID POV TWO MONTHS LATER — SEPTEMBER 30th Today is a perfect day. The sun is shining, its rays warming the grounds and the lake and the garden. There is a light breeze winding and swirling its way around the forest and through the flora, carrying the scent of pine, water, flowers, and sunshine with it. There isn’t a cloud in the sky, and the air is the perfect temperature — neither too hot nor too cold.
