Chapter 130

Josie POV

As I land in front of them, I swipe at the closest man and my claws rip into his side. His intestines start to spill out of his body. He quickly shifts but not fast enough to stop his imminent death. I turn slowly towards the other man as he simply stands there. “I want to take you in peacefully, Josie,” he reiterates as we stand off looking at one another.

Not wanting to waste time, I leap at him as he tosses me off him still not shifting. I go again to attack him, and he punches me in the chest cracking a bone. I realize quickly I am going to exhaust myself before he even attempts to shift. My thoughts are erratic as my only goal is to get to Sam.

Refocusing I step back, and we stare at one another. I consider taking another leap, but I decide against it. He is positioned to receive my next attack. He still has not shifted and I need him to shift to allow Alexis, my wolf, to take over and fight to get us free. Looking behind hi
