"What's taking them so long?" Ezra wondered as he chewed his nails at the back of the van. The silence was getting to him. Leroy couldn't have been caught, right? He was simply too good which made it impossible for him to be caught.

"Maybe we shouldn't have let him go in there with her," he said to Eskel. "What if she slows him down?"

Eskel narrowed his eyes at him, "Would you have tried to stop Leroy? Didn't you see how adamant he looked. It wasn’t up for discussion." he had simply strolled in like he owned the place.

"It's because of Anna," Ezra said. "You've noticed it too, right?" he held his brother's gaze and they observed a moment of silence. The words were at the tip of their tongue, but they just had to speak it.

Even without words, it was obvious that they had the same thought.
