His heavy breathing filled the kitchen as his eyes bore into mine. Fear crept into my bones, a chill running down my spine. Suddenly, he stormed out of the kitchen, leaving me and Stella in a state of shock.

"Don't worry, ma'am. I'll take care of it," Stella said, her voice shaking slightly. I nodded, my mouth agape as she swept away the spilled salt and retrieved a new container.

"Do you know who he is?" Stella asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.

"I have no idea," I replied, my voice trembling with fear. "Why was he so angry with me? Did he have a nightmare?"

Stella sighed, her eyes darting around the room. "It's possible," she said. "But it could also be Alpha Brendon's doing. I was scared, to be honest."

Her words sent a shiver down my spine. "You're right. Maybe Brendon was involved. Let me go see him," I said, determined to get to the bottom of this.
