Aliyah’s POV

His bike was parked to the side as we talked. Henry had gotten me a cup of Americano after the near accident we just had.

I leaned my back on the bike, sipping the cold drink.

“So, where did you learn biking? You look talented” he asked, glancing at me.

“Joined a club years ago. Don't flatter me, I'm not that talented” I said.

That was a lie. I had always strived to be the best. I've engaged in tournaments and the last one I did earned me some heavy bucks that's not ending soon and a car I've long sold.

But I didn't tell him.

“I thought we were going to die there, but I still decided to trust you” he laughed like that was funny.

Yeah, it was. A stranger you had randomly picked up for a ride telling you what to do in such a crisis sounded crazy.

“Wanna see what my club looks like?” He asked.

I knew there was no thinking about this. I wouldn't want to get myself involved with bikers, not the clubs, not the bikes, and not the stench of oil.

Not again.

Aliyah's POV“Trust me, she isn't that bad” Papa still argued in favor of his old friend. “She definitely had her reasons” “Reasons you didn't find out before you decided to just take a baby from her?” I asked with a raised brow. “Do we want to talk about the day I took you from Cynthia or about your father?” Papa asked with a frown. I cleared my throat in surrender. “Father” He nodded then continued telling the tale. “They didn't get married. She wasn't his mate. But everyone knew of their relationship. Everyone knew she was always around him, always helping him with the pack's affairs, but no one knew she was pregnant with you two.Not even the Alpha.” My gaze squinted. “Why?” Papa replied while holding my gaze. “Because she wasn't sure whether she wanted him to know. She wasn't sure whether she was ready to add you to the life of an Alpha who wasn't chosen by the moon goddess.” “She feared what would happen in the future and how it might affect you. In the end, she was glad

Aliyah's POVHe held Elara by the hand while I watched, my face neutral. Asher stopped while they were on the stairs, snapping his gaze to the back. “Papa, how've you been?” He asked. Papa lifted his gaze and chuckled. “You just realized I was here?” He didn't sound like he was getting angry, he was just amused—I could tell from his face. “I'm sorry, I was busy with Elara,” Asher apologized, a smile on his face. Papa nodded. “Of course, it's fine. And I've been well” he said. “I need to thank you for bringing Aliyah back home. I should buy you a drink sometime”Asher chuckled. “I will look forward to it” Again, he turned and walked up the stairs with Elara, both disappearing into the hallway. I leaned beside the wall, staring at my phone when I couldn't even tell what I was doing on it. All I knew was that I was waiting for Elara and Asher to get back here and tell them goodbye. Papa also picked a newspaper up, going through it. He didn't say a word to me. Maybe he just had n

Asher's POVI didn't expect Aliyah to ask that. She wanted to spend the night in my place. It wasn't something I'd ever expect her to ask. “Of course. You'll always be welcome” I said. She smiled, so sweetly I found it hard to take my gaze off her. “Alright then. I'll just take a few more glasses and leave with you” She doesn't sound drunk, but I knew she's had enough to drink. “It's enough. Let's leave” I said. She looked at me and frowned. “You think it is?” She asked. Now she's acting drunk. I stood up and grabbed her. “Yes, it is” She moved up and I walked her to the bartender, handing him my card to get the payment from. After the payment got sorted out, I walked Aliyah to my car, taking her home. The drive back to my house was short, filled with silence as Aliyah fell asleep. I carried her to the bed, placing the duvet over her, but she held my hand when I attempted to walk back out after kissing her forehead goodnight. Her eyes fluttered open when I thought she'd fall

Aliyah's POVCynthia. I just couldn't help calling that woman by her name and not the title of a mother she's supposed to be. Papa snapped his gaze to me and sighed. “Nothing you need to know about, Aliyah” I laughed because I wasn't going to buy that. “She called me. She wanted to see me. She was going to talk about my father. But you showed up and ended up talking to her instead. And you say there's nothing to know?” I wasn't pissed, but just amused that there's something Papa was willing to keep from me that involves my father. Not my father…. I would never call anyone “father” except for Papa here. “I sorted things out with her. You really don't need to know, " he said.He moved away from the counter, walking back to the room where he picked up a newspaper he had bought days ago or even months.I didn't push it further. I knew no matter how much I did, he wouldn't tell me. I moved back upstairs, standing in the hallway as I went through my phone searching for a contact. I f

Aliyah's POVCohen's reply came, soft and cool. “Not anymore, Aliyah. I don't intend on making you miserable” He continued. “I found out we are family after all,” he said. “That should be the least I can do for my sister, isn't it?” His last words sounded sarcastic, but I didn't mind it. He might be willing to think of me as his sister, but not me. I was the one who got hurt, the one who's supposed to hate with all my might. He didn't feel anything after he hurt me, so of course, he wouldn't know. He continued. “I hurt you,” he said. Damn, I'm glad he knows. I'm more glad because he's admitting it right now. He added. “But I won't apologize for hurting you” I scoffed inwardly, but kept my silence. “I also won't try to make it up to you by being a good brother because I know you don't want to have anything to do with me or my mother,” he affirmed. I faced him with my gaze calm and composed. “I'm glad you know.” I paused and swallowed. “I'll forget about what happened between us

  • The Biker Alpha's Secret Baby    Chapter 86

Aliyah’s POV“I'll cut to the chase” My mother, Cynthia said. Yes, I liked that. I also wouldn't want to spend more time than expected standing or staying in this house. She pointed to the chair. “Take a seat first” I would have declined, but I remembered that I had to leave here as soon as I could. All I need to do is be obedient, hear her out and then leave. I sat down like she had wanted me to, and Cohen was also forced to take his seat beside me. Once seated, I lifted my gaze to look at her. “Now why am I here?”She stood in front of the both of us, massaging her knuckles. An action I wouldn't stop thinking she was doing because she was nervous. “Firstly, Aliyah…..” Her voice was low, careful. I felt nothing. All I did was stare at her, waiting for her to continue her words. “I'm sorry for all I've done” she said. I curled my brows, tilting my head to the side. “Sorry for what exactly?” “For abandoning me right after you gave birth to me? Or for keeping the fact that I'm
