Chapter 21

  When they got to the mansion, Nicole surprisingly had this feeling of being at home. She quickly refrained herself from having that kind of feeling because soon, she would be leaving the mansion for good, when Gabriel’s parents are gone.

Gabriel went to the kitchen as soon as they got inside, probably to keep to his promise.

Nicole decided to head to her bedroom. She had missed that place a lot because it was now her safe haven.

She opened the door to the bedroom and noticed it was spotlessly clean. She looked through her closet and found out that her things were just how she had left them. Just then she heard a knock.

“Come in.” she said walking out of the closet. Gabriel appeared in the room.

“I wanted to let you know that I’ve ordered the chefs to make your donuts.”

“Thank.” She quietly replied.
