“any further delay and it would've been to late.”

“what do you mean doctor?” Tristan asked the pack doctor.

“she has a few broken ribs , a punctured lung and a ruptured spleen, she's also been bleeding internally. She must've been in a lot of pain.” The doctor explained. “did she say how she got these injuries?”

“she fell down the stairs.” Tristan replied, he always had a feeling she was lying about that but he didn't care enough to pry.

“falling down the stairs might leave one with a few minor injuries although some cases might be severe such as permanent paralysis but it doesn't result in a few broken ribs and a ruptured spleen unless she’s had multiple falls which doesn't make sense because the injuries were seconds apart, my guess is she was most likely assaulted.” The doctor said.
