Chapter 10

Everybody has a sad face on, the maid dropped the food and left.

Mrs Gilbert sat down with grieve. She cupped her face into her joined palm, then she stared blankly at nothing in particular.

Andrew left the table and went to his room. Adam watched him leave, he also stood up and faced his mother.

"Mom, something needs to be done here, I don't know what it is but definitely something needs to be done." Adam advised, then he sighed. Mrs Gilbert raised her head and looked at him.

"Mom, I hope you will handle the situation well, I hope he finds her, I ..."

"Kindly go to your room please Adam, don't add to what happened and I will get back at you for what you did in school today." She hollered with a glance flicker. Adam blinked with a feigned innocence.

"Don't give me that look, your punishment awaits you but for now, go in with Nancy." She said again.

"Nancy, your Mama wants you in your room, right now." Adam ordered, Nancy didn't make a move an inch instead she bursted into tears.
