Chapter 41

It was in the evening, Adam drove into the compound and packed properly at the garage. Nancy opened the door and jumped out of the car.

"Finally I am home." She screamed happily and ran in.

"What is wrong with her?." Adam asked himself, he removed the keys, carried his backpack, opened the door and headed out of the car, then he walked in. All the guards he met on his way in greeted, he replied few and chose not to reply again.

Adam knobbed down the door and went in, Nancy and Marissa were the people he spotted. Marissa was having a conversation with Nancy they both had smiles on. Marissa raised her head and saw him walking in.

"Welcome sir." She greeted him.

"Thank you, Where is Mum and Dad?." He asked at once.

"They are upstairs in their room." Marissa replied humbly. Adam ran to the stairs immediately and started climbing it.

"You look happy." Marissa said with a smile.

"You are right, I am very happy unfortunately, I don't know why but all I know is that I am very happy." S
