A constant ringing of her doorbell made Emily beyond pissed. To be b bothered while she was in the midst of business made her grip her fist and ready to slap whoever’s dares to bother her so rudely.
Her home wasn't just any other homes in New York. She was living in a half-million-dollar penthouse and to be bothered like this makes her wonder how useless the security guard in the premise is to allow such disrespectfulness.
Her anger made her refuse to peek through the hole in her door. She quickly opens the electronic door and all her red emotions just melt into ice. More like those ices melt and fall on her head.
Right in front of her was both Alice and her friend Giselle, staring at her angrily and both breathing hard. Before she could close the door or block them, Alice forces herself in and Emily staggers back.
