Chapter nineteen

In the kitchen, Mel felt devastated when she heard her sister cry about how she didn't want her to go into depression again.

A lone tear escape her eyes, and she sat on the dinning chair burying her face in her hands.

“You can't let him affect you like this Mel,” she told her self, “he has already moved on and so should you! You can't continue dwelling in the past when a beautiful future is right in front of you.”

She took a deep calming breath,

'I won't go into depression again, I will stay strong and fight for my life.'

She wiped the last of her tears, took another deep breath and stood up.

Lara just silently stood there, watching her.

Melissa took her headsets and played some music on her phone then distracted herself with the cooking.
