The Beast She Carries

Angel's POV

“ Don”t worry darling, she is going to die with that pregnancy, and when she finally dies, we will have the world to ourselves”, Dominic said, caressing Anne’s face as the silly bitch giggled happily. That was the last stroke that broke the carmel's back.

I had walked in on them pounding into each other as if their lives depended on it, my husband and my twin sister, on my matrimonial bed, the very bed that the baby in my womb was conceived, screaming and moaning at the top of their voices, and I had tightly covered my mouth to prevent myself from screaming as I watched the ungodly scene before me.

“ But hey, how sure can you be that she will die while giving birth?” Anne asked, placing her hand over my husband's chest, the very chest that I had slept on last night.

“ Of course I'm very sure. Look, she doesn't want anyone to know, but she has a high risk pregnancy, and even her doctor has told her that she has only twenty percent chance of survival, she and the beast she's carrying in her belly”, he said with such clarity and disgust in his voice, so much disgust that even the baby in my womb kicked so hard.

“ What the hell is going on here!” I screamed as I barged into the room, ignoring the fact that the little one in my belly was practicing kung fu, and startling the two idiots that were having the time of their lives. “ What in God's name is……”, I covered my mouth as hot tears streamed down, leaving me unable to continue with what I wanted to say.

Dominic scrambled out of the bed, his flat dick swinging from North to South as he rushed to put on his pants which were hanging hopelessly on the window pane, while Anne immediately covered herself up with the blanket.

“ Anne why?” I asked, the tears flowing endlessly, the pain in my heart growing, and the pain in my pelvic area intensifying. “ Why Anne? What have I ever done to you? Why Anne, why?” I was screaming at this point, out of control, “ why? I asked, heading towards Dominic, “ what did you do to my sister? What have you done to her? Why? Of everyone, every fucking person in the world, why does it have to be my sister?” I grabbed his lose pants, pushing him around as much as my strength could allow me and punching him.

“ Tell me why, you son of bitch”, I said and unexpectedly, he pushed me so hard that I almost met the floor.

“ Enough!” He screamed angrily, taking me by surprise, “ enough Angel, cut it out”, he sounded firm, so firm as if he was scolding a child, and I was so sure that if I had a knife with me, I would've cut out his penis, since he was telling me to “ cut it out”.

I turned to Anne who was still on the bed, looking so pitiful as if she wasn't moaning in ecstasy just a couple of minutes ago.

“ And you, what did he do to you? Why would you want to kill me? What did I ever do to you!” I was basically running mad, and the intensity of my voice was proof of that.

“ Oh please shut the fuck up!” Dominic retorted, banging his hand so hard on the window that it broke, injuring him in the process. He approached me like a hungry beast and grabbed me my the shoulders, “ keep your fucking voice down, unless you want to die earlier than your doctor predicted”, he said coldly, sending cold shivers down my spine.

For the five long years that we have been married, never have I ever felt so afraid of him, of the devil that was standing before me.

He left me as I stood there, completely speechless.

Anne got up from the bed, still holding the blanket to her chest as she came closer.

“ I'm sorry sis”, she said coldly, looking me dead in the eye, like she had never done before, making me wonder if the person before me was really my sister or a doppelganger, “ I am so sorry for what I did, but isn't it unfair?” He demeanor turned colder, “ isn't it unfair that only you get to have all the good things? The money, the spouse, the house, everything, don't you think it's unfair?”

“ Is that why you slept with my husband?!” I screamed, “ huh? Is that why you both were planning to kill me?”

“ Shh”, she put a finger over my lips, “ we were not planning anything, we were just saying what was bound to happen. Although, the plan to kill you would've been invited if you eventually survive giving birth to that thing you're carrying”.

She drew closer to my ears and whispered, “ it's time you give up sis, don't worry, I'll take very good care of your husband”.

The rage in me couldn't be held down again, and I unleashed it.

I grabbed her hair, forcing the blanket to fall to the ground as we both struggled with each other's hair. I tried with all my strength to rip her hair off her head, and she did the same.

“ Get off of me!”, she screamed as she kept struggling, completely naked.

“ Leave her alone!” Dominic commanded as he separated us, and as angry as I was, I faced him, throwing slaps and punches his way.

The next thing happened in a flash. One minute, I was standing, fighting vigorously, and the next minute I was on the floor, lying on the pieces of shattered glass table which my head had broken.

I didn't even realize it, but he had pushed me, so so hard, and as I laid there, bleeding to death, they; Dominic and Anne, stared down at me.

“ What are we going to do?” Anne asked, trembling. She must've gotten scared after seeing my split open head and the blood that was everywhere.

“ Come, grab a dress”, he said to her and she quickly put a sundress over her naked body and he held her by the hand as they ran out. I laid there for what seemed like eternity, awaiting death, until I started perceiving smoke.

The smoke increased, and in no time, the room was also on fire, together with the entire house.

The only thing on my mind was the fact that my baby was dying. The child that I had longed to have, was going to get burnt, along with it's undeserving mother.
