Chase’s POV

Terry’s doorman welcomed us.

“Welcome,” he said with a professional smile. “Ice King, it is so good to see you,” he added to me.

I couldn’t help but to smile at him.

The last time I was here, Terry had dismissed his staff members because he wanted to have his lone time with that lady that I never got to see, thankfully, so I understood that it had been a while since I last saw his doorman.

Also, I rarely came to Terry’s house because of how tight my schedule could be.

He was a middle aged man, and ever since he started working for Terry, he often talked about how much his son loved me and looked up to me. I already assured him that when it was time, I would pay for his son to go to an international hockey academy.

“Hey, Chase!” Terry said, strolling down the stairs like the man of the moment.

He had a robe on with a pair of shorts, and I wondered why Terry was not even dressed for the party.

“Terry,” I simply said.
