The day that Andrew was being released from the hospital was finally here. After making arrangements, I was able to get it so my grandfather could also join us for the party. Veronica wanted to help Lily finish up the final touches, which meant I was in charge of Andrew’s release.

Not wanting to have Andrew or my grandfather wait, I had already sent my grandfather with Veronica to set up things for the party. The only thing I had left to do was escort Andrew outside to the waiting vehicle. Since this was a special day for him, I made it extra special by hiring a limo to take us for a short ride before going home.

He has been talking nonstop about how he was looking forward to seeing his new room. With the way he acted at times, it was hard to believe he had been a sick child for most of his life. I knew a lot of it had to do with the way Veronica raised him.
