Vivian and I stood together, clasping hands as we looked at Amy's photograph. The quiet between us felt comfortable, a shared moment of contemplation. Eventually, we turned to leave, and as we walked away, I brought up my next stop.

"I want to visit Lucas as well," I said, my gaze fixed ahead.

"Without Kyle?" Vivian asked, and I offered a gentle smile, my thoughts drifting to Kyle.

"I'm certain Kyle would have come today too," I replied.

Vivian acknowledged this with a nod, and we carried on our journey.

As we drove to the familiar spot, memories surged within me. This was the same place where Lucas and Kyle had fought, the place where Kyle had come to see his brother, believing he was dead.

I recalled the day I’d visited here with Kyle the day after my hospital discharge, the emotions that had overwhelmed me.

The feelings of anger and hurt toward Lucas started to reemerge that very day, but thinking about forgiveness made my heart feel lighter, as I understood that the actions of th

  • The Billionaire’s Contracted Bride   Epilogue

_Epilogue_(One year later)———-The wind was soft, brushing against my cheeks as I stood at the edge of the beach, toes buried in warm sand, the sound of gentle waves filling the air.Kyle was behind me, his arms wrapped around our son, rocking him gently as he hummed something low and calming.I turned and watched them , both of them. The man who never gave up on me… and the tiny heartbeat that changed everything. Our baby’s name was Aiden. Kyle chose it. Said it meant “little fire.” Fitting, I guess, for a child born after so much chaos, and yet somehow became our peace.I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a second. The past still lingered. It always would. Some nights, I still woke up unsure of who I was. Sometimes, the guilt would creep in. But it didn’t consume me anymore.Because I knew now , healing wasn’t forgetting. It was remembering… and still choosing to move forward.“Hey,” Kyle’s voice called softly behind me. “We’ve got sand in his mouth.”I laughed, turning ar

  • The Billionaire’s Contracted Bride   All of Me

I stepped out of the orphanage, the air suddenly too thick to breathe. The silence outside didn’t help, it only made the noise in my head louder. My phone started ringing. I didn’t answer. Couldn’t. My hands were trembling. My chest wouldn’t stop tightening, because this wasn’t just pain, this was realization. I wasn’t only a victim. In more ways than I wanted to admit, I’d been the one pulling strings too.The phone beeped again. A message from Mrs. Jones.……..”Naina… I know you’re overwhelmed right now, and I want you to hear me clearly. Yes, you have Dissociative Identity Disorder. You had a part of you, a protector self, who carried the rage, the plans, the pain you couldn’t handle as a child. But from today’s hypnosis, I believe that part has now gone dormant. You’re not switching anymore because that version of you has integrated or maybe, for now, she’s gone completely. That’s why the memories are returning. Slowly, painfully, but they’re yours now. You may not regain

  • The Billionaire’s Contracted Bride   The Scariest Part

Mrs. Jones kept trying to get me to say something, but I couldn’t. My throat was tight, my mind spinning. She eventually excused herself to get me something to drink.I stood up slowly, my legs shaky beneath me, and walked to the mirror in the corner of the room. I stared at my reflection. That’s when the memories from the hypnosis started rushing in.I saw myself at the orphanage. A much younger me… screaming, crying, setting fire to part of the building. My voice echoed in my head: “Stop hurting us!” I could see the adults’ faces, shocked, wide-eyed throwing uneasy glances at one another. And then... their whispers. “She’s the perfect candidate.”I shut my eyes tight, as if that would stop the flood. But it only made it worse.I saw it clear as day, the night I ended up in Kyle’s room after the party. I wasn’t just drugged. I had intentionally gone there. And then more, memories I’d never seen before, memories I didn’t even know existed. Like watching someone else’s life… only it wa

I winced slightly as I shifted, the soreness reminding me of what just happened. He noticed right away.“Too much?” he asked, brushing a strand of hair from my face.“I’m fine,” I mumbledYeah, it hurt. Not unbearable… just new.He got up and disappeared into the bathroom. I heard the sound of water running.A minute later, he came back, shirtless, sweatpants hanging low on his hips.“Come on,” he said, offering his hand. “You need a warm bath.”“I can walk,” I said stubbornly. He raised a brow. “Can you?”I tried. Failed. Sat back down.“Shut up,” I muttered. He only chuckled, scooping me up without another word. I didn’t fight him this time. When we got to the bathroom, the tub was already filling, warm steam curling into the air. Rose petals floated on the surface, probably leftover from the decoration team and soft candlelight glowed along the edge.He gently lowered me in, and I sighed as the warmth soaked into my skin.He didn’t leave. Just sat nearby, watching me with that unre

His kiss turned deeper, hotter, as if he’d been holding back all night and now he wasn’t going to anymore. His hands moved with purpose, one sliding down my waist, the other cupping the side of my face as he kissed me like he meant to own every part of me.And maybe he already did.His mouth left mine, trailing hot, open kisses down my neck. “You have no idea how long I’ve waited for tonight,” he whispered against my skin, his voice rough and hungry.“Then what are you waiting for?” I whispered back He pulled back just enough to look at me, really look at me, his eyes dark, intense, full of heat and something deeper.“Say the word,” he murmured. “And I’ll carry you upstairs right now.”I didn’t hesitate. “Take me.” I said The moment the words left my mouth, he scooped me up into his arms without warning. I let out a startled laugh, wrapping my arms around his neck.“God, I love you,” he said, kissing my forehead as he started up the stairs.“And I love you more” I whispered. When

  • The Billionaire’s Contracted Bride   The Wedding Crasher

I stood in the living room of the new house, Kyle’s surprise gift. A fresh start, he called it. But right now, it didn’t feel so fresh.Kyle lingered near the stairs as my eyes moved from him… to her , the woman from the wedding. She wasn’t in that dramatic burgundy dress anymore, just something simple. She offered me a small, almost apologetic smile.“Trust me,” she said gently. “I didn’t mean for it to come off like that.”I didn’t answer. Not right away.I just looked at her? this woman who walked into our wedding like she belonged. And then I recalled about what happened ——-(Flashback ) The woman gave a soft, almost shy smile. “Hi, Kyle.”No drama. Just calm, like she hadn’t just crashed a wedding. The guests shifted uncomfortably, whispers, glances, no one knew what was going on, not even me.Anna glanced around and let out a small, nervous laugh.“Oh… wait, you all think I came to ruin the wedding?” she said, shaking her head lightly, like the thought almost amused her.“No.
