CHAPTER 56

Antonio's POV

The door slam shut loudly and I jerk out of my reverie.

"She is mad at you", Stanley mentions to my hearing, making me scowl at him for the useless observation. It is apparent that she is mad at me, he doesn't need to rub it in my face.

"You shouldn't have asked her those questions, you know?"

"Shut up", I rise after barking at him. The mistake I made was asking Harley those questions in front of Stanley. I should have been patient enough for him to be gone from her before asking her. Maybe this is why she is angry.

I just couldn't stop myself from asking because I was troubled, angry, and feeling strange. I was in such a hurry to know if she had sex with him or not. But I don't even know what that will change. I don't know if having sex with Xavier will change anything or if she didn't, maybe something will change.
