A Reunion in the Rain...

Raj's car was speeding down the road. Through the heavy rain, his eyes suddenly caught sight of a girl sitting right in the middle of the road.

Raj immediately began honking repeatedly.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

But the girl seemed completely unaware of her surroundings. She remained sitting in the middle of the road, her head lowered, as if she could neither hear the horn nor care about what happened to her.

Raj suddenly slammed on the brakes.

Screech!

The car came to a sudden stop just inches away from her. The force of the sudden braking made Raj jerk forward in his seat.

Furious, Raj quickly unfastened his seat belt and stepped out of the car.

Walking through the heavy rain, he reached the girl and shouted angrily,

"Do you have no concern for your own life? If my car had been a little closer, do you even realize what could have happened?"

But the girl remained seated with her head lowered.

As if his voice wasn't reaching her at all.

Seeing her condition, Raj bent down in frustration, grabbed her arm, and helped her stand. He turned her toward himself and lifted her face—

The moment Raj saw her face, he froze.

The anger disappeared from his expression, replaced by pure shock.

Only one word escaped his lips—

"You..."

It was Avni.

After two long years...

She was standing in front of him.

But never in his wildest thoughts had Raj imagined that she would appear before him in such a condition.

Her eyes were swollen and red from crying. Her face was drained of its usual brightness, and despite the cold rain pouring over her, her entire body was burning with a high fever.

Avni slowly raised her eyes, trying to look at Raj.

But before she could even recognize him properly, darkness began to cloud her vision.

Her body suddenly lost its strength and started falling backward.

Raj immediately caught her.

Avni had fainted in his arms.

Raj simply stared at her for a few moments.

The girl he had searched for in his thoughts for the past two years...

The girl he had never been able to forget...

Was finally standing before him.

But she was completely broken.

All the anger had vanished from Raj's face the moment he saw her condition.

He carefully lifted Avni into his arms and carried her toward the car.

He placed her carefully in the back seat, removed his coat, and covered her with it. Then he closed the car door, walked around to the driver's seat, and turned the car's temperature up to keep her warm.

Immediately, he took out his phone and called Aarav.

A few seconds later, Aarav answered.

"Yes, Sir?"

Without wasting any time, Raj ordered,

"Bring a doctor to the mansion... and arrange some dry clothes for the girl."

With that, he ended the call.

Aarav stared at his phone for a few moments, completely stunned.

Hearing such an unusual order from his boss had caught him completely off guard.

But he quickly composed himself and began carrying out Raj's instructions.

Meanwhile, Raj started the car and drove toward his mansion at high speed.

The rain continued pouring outside.

Raj glanced at Avni through the rear-view mirror.

She was still unconscious.

A strange restlessness filled his eyes.

In a low voice, he whispered to himself,

"Two years... after two whole years, you've finally come back into my life. But I never imagined you'd come before me like this..."

A little while later, Raj's car finally arrived at his private mansion.

One of the guards stepped forward to open the car door, but before he could do so, Raj had already stepped out.

Without wasting a second, he walked around to the other side of the car and opened the rear door.

The next moment, he carefully lifted Avni into his arms and started walking toward the mansion.

Seeing Raj carrying a woman in his arms, the guards standing nearby looked completely stunned.

They exchanged confused glances and began whispering among themselves.

"Who is this girl?"

The other guard replied in surprise,

"I don't know... Sir has never brought any girl to the mansion before. Then who is she?"

Raj, completely ignoring their whispers, continued walking inside while carrying Avni in his arms.

Raj's mansion was nothing less than a magnificent palace.

The high ceilings, elegant chandeliers, expensive furnishings, and luxurious décor reflected the same grandeur as Raj's personality.

But today, every servant in the mansion had their eyes fixed on the girl in Raj's arms.

Seeing Raj carrying an unfamiliar girl, the servants began whispering among themselves.

Then Aarav's eyes fell on the girl's face.

His eyes widened in shock.

He recognized her.

It was Avni Mehta.

Aarav stared at her for a few moments before immediately following Raj.

Raj went straight to his room and carefully laid Avni down on his bed.

Then he called a female servant and ordered calmly,

"Change her clothes."

After saying that, Raj walked out of the room.

Aarav immediately followed him.

He handed the bag containing the dry clothes to the servant and then came outside, standing near Raj.

Raj turned his cold gaze toward Aarav.

Understanding that his boss was about to ask something, Aarav quickly said,

"The doctor should be here any moment, Sir."

Just then, a few moments later, the doctor arrived with one of the servants.

Raj said nothing.

He simply stood there silently.

After a while, the female servant stepped out of the room.

She stood before Raj with her head lowered and said,

"Sir, Madam's clothes have been changed."

Hearing this, Raj silently entered the room along with the doctor.

The doctor immediately examined Avni.

After checking her condition and finding that she had a high fever, he gave her an injection.

Then he wrote down some medicines on a prescription and handed it to Raj.

"She developed a high fever because she was out in the rain for too long. If Madam regains consciousness by tomorrow, please give her these medicines on time. But if her fever doesn't come down by morning, call me again."

Raj took the prescription and simply replied,

"Okay."

Then he looked toward the door and said,

"Aarav, come inside."

Aarav immediately entered the room.

Raj handed him the prescription and ordered,

"Get these medicines... and see the doctor out."

"Okay, Sir."

Aarav took the prescription and left the room with the doctor.

Raj remained standing there for a few moments, silently looking at Avni lying unconscious on his bed.

After two years...

The girl had finally returned to his life.

But this time...

She was more broken than ever.
