“I do.” Kendra’s voice was soft, and the look on her face spoke a billion words. She was incredibly nervous, and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. She was getting married to a guy she barely knew.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the officiant declared. “You may now kiss the bride.”

I gently pulled Kendra toward me. She closed her eyes, preparing herself for the kiss. I placed my hand on the small of her back and closed my eyes the moment my lips met hers.

I thought our kiss would be more of a brush, but as our lips met, I realized that I didn’t want to let go. She tasted so good, like her lips were made to be kissed by no one else but me.

When she moved away from me, her cheeks looked more pink, causing me to smirk. She looked adorable when she blushed.

Our reception was a blur. I danced with Kendra three times, and she spent most of the evening dancing with her best friends. I think their presence made the entire day easier for her.
