4. Revenge

Xavion

.

"Who did this to you, Xav? Is it Dominic?" Hendrix asked quietly from my side. I weakly shook my head.

My whole body is covered in bruises. I have broken bones in every part of me. It's painful, but nothing compares to the pain in my heart.

I was fooled, and I couldn't accept it. I offered my heart genuinely for the first time, and this is what I got in return. I underestimated her. I thought she was different from all the girls who wanted my attention.

I trusted and have given her my heart. I admit it was careless of me, and I didn't expect this. I thought she loved me. I thought she'd stick to me no matter what. I was wrong. It was a mistake to like her from the start.

Hendrix stood up and looked at me. It's evident. He was angry and wanted revenge for this. I shut my eyes as I felt weak. I can hear my mother talking to the doctor outside, and I can't understand what it's all about.

"Your father is coming, Xav. You better tell me the truth," in Hendrix's voice. My eyes were still shut, and I couldn't move my fingers.

"I didn't see their faces, Hendrix. Someone hit my head behind, and I fell, and the rest followed. There were too many of them, and I couldn't fight back," I lied. They shouldn't know about it. I don't want to hear Quinn's name again.

"Dammit," he swore and didn't move.

I heard more than one footstep getting inside the room, and as I opened my eyes, I saw my mother's worried face. She's in tears.

"My poor baby," Mom whispered and hugged me. She caressed my head and kissed my forehead.

I chuckled in silence and wanted to laugh. But I couldn't smile properly because every time I tried to express an effort of expression, the pain became uncomfortable inside me.

Heck, my mother still calls me her baby, and I'm an effing twenty-one years old.

"Thank you, Dr. Kim. I'll take care of my son from here."

My ears heated, and Mom stood up. We both look in his direction.

Damn it. It's my father.

Mom hugged him, and I looked my father in the eyes. I haven't seen him for half a decade, and he looks like a tiger that just came out of his den. Looks dominant, profound, and Don. Hendrix moves to the side and is quiet.

"How are you, son? You look. . . great." His smile crinkled the corner of his dark eyes. "I'm taking you with me." He winked.

"What?" My mother looks at my father with fear.

"Don't worry, darling. It's time for Xavion to learn the defense. He's no longer a baby, right, Hendrix?" in my father's baritone voice. I know he's looking at Hendrix like a tiger.

"I-I agree, Sir." Hendrix stammered and weakly nodded. He looked down at his shoes.

"Of course, you are coming with us, darling. I miss you." My father to my mother. He hugged and kissed Mom.

I pressed my lips together and swore in silence.

Dammit. It will be hell for me from now on, but it's better. I want to forget everything here. I want to forget about Quinn.

I don't care what kind of hell I will face from now on. I will forget my heart and move on. It's time for reality, and this is my reality.

"You are coming too, Hendrix. But I will drop you in Belmont. Your father is waiting for you." My father to him. Hendrix looked at me, and his eyes looked like he had shit himself.

TEN YEARS NOW

I looked heavenward and shut my eyes in pleasure. I groaned in the back of my mind, and the tension in my body built up.

She's good. There's no doubt about that. Her mouth went more profound, and the tight satisfaction gave a crisp silver thin lining of my past. And as soon as her hand touched the skin of my stomach, I immediately stopped her.

I swore silently and stood up before I could ejaculate in her mouth. She looked pissed off at me, and I smirked. Then, I turned away to get out of the room. Uno greeted me as I opened the door.

"Fuck you, Xavion!" She screamed and called me names.

I heard her, alright. I left her plenty of cash, twenty times fold for a hooker's price.

"Drive her back to where she came from, Uno," I ordered Uno. He bowed to me and then went inside the room to support Samantha.

Tre, one of my bodyguards, who is close to me, approaches me with a warning message in his eyes.

"The Don Supremo wants to see you at the headquarters, double X," he stated.

My jaw tightened as I headed towards the elevator. It opened, and Tre pushed the last number at the top provided with a unique ID. I looked at his fingers, and he seemed tense. He stood up a few feet from me, right in the door.

"Who's waiting at the TOP?" I asked and studied the expression on his face.

"It's your cousin, boss. Bryce," he formally answered.

The door opened, and Tre stepped out, checking at our surroundings.

The fuck he's doing? I swore in my mind while looking at his stupid behavior. No one will kill me here. It's my effing territory.

I inhaled deeply and smiled a little bit when I saw Bryce. He's waiting inside the helicopter.

Let me guess. He will be my pilot for today.

Damn, beauty!

"Bryce!"

We shake hands, and the smile on his face seems fresh. He's probably on a new mission tonight.

"On a special mission?" I asked and put every gear I had inside. He pushes every button to start the flight.

"Yes. You will find out soon." He winked, and the helicopter started to lift.

We landed safely at my father's territory. The place was no longer new anymore. It's quiet as dead, but I know my father. He has more eyes than a pineapple. The location was covered with high-tech security, with an assassin hiding nearby.

I remember the first step when my foot hit the floor of the entrance. I thought I would receive a greeting, but it was the opposite. That was my first training.

My father trained me in all combat for four years for survival and sent me to Russia for a special mission. I returned a year later with a few broken bones and dislocated arms. I was still alive. Add another five years to that, and here I am now, managing our businesses abroad and mine. Life was never easy, and it's full of shit at times, but I don't mind it. It's part of life.

"The boys can't wait to see you."

"I can't wait to see them all too. Thank you for keeping my business at your space, Bryce."

"No worries." He smiled and shook his head.

I took a deep breath before I opened the double doors and walked into the den of the Supremo Don, my father.

Finally, after ten years, I could see him as a dragon now as I become his own. Bryce stopped behind me, on guard, as I walked cautiously towards my father's black puzzle wooden table. Until now, I couldn't figure out my father's hidden agenda. I still haven't cracked the code he gave me a year ago. But if you think about it, I was only here three times.

"Thank you, Bryce. Stay for dinner," in my father's order. His voice echoed around the place. He stood at his best spot, looking at the perfect view. Bryce bowed at him and then walked outside. I heard him shut the enormous door.

This mansion is on top of a mountain overlooking the beautiful ocean below. It's also surrounded by forest on each side. It's impossible to reach the estate at its shortest travel except by helicopter. The floor-to-ceiling windows are moonlight-dark, but the waters below us are beautiful tonight. It's like watching a full moon down the moonlight and its delight.

"How are you, son? Stay for tonight. Your mother is cooking her ass for six hours."

"Is that the reason why you called me?" I looked at him respectfully. He took a few steps towards me, and his smile spoke of contentment.

"I guess so. It's hard to hold you at times like this."

I nodded. Dad was right. He just returned from a confidential mission abroad, and I'm busy running the businesses.

"How're the boys?" He asks, opening one drawer of his table.

"Yeah, all good and in place," I answered.

The reflection of his face was evident on his dark table. My jaw tightened, looking at what was on top of everything. It's neat, except for the gold invitation on the top of his documents.

"You don't have an assignment. Your mom wants to have dinner with you tonight." He said and walked past me.

"And that includes you, right?" I smile sparingly.

"What options do we have, son? Your mother is good at holding us by the neck at times." He said and seemed pleased when he looked back at me.

"Be thankful for she hasn't asked you for a grandchild yet. You haven't introduced a girl to us. How much longer?" He asked, and his eyes reverted to his table. I

followed his gaze, and it led to the invitation on top. My brows furrowed, and my eyes caught the familiar name.

My father stepped outside, and out of curiosity, I stepped back to my father's table to look at the invitation on top. This one looks like a wedding invitation for my parents.

Langley and Montadamme?

My forehead creased when I read the last name Langley. I opened the invitation and read it.

Quinn Isabeau Langley and Dominic Montadamme Nuptials.

My feet were nailed to where I stood after reading her name. And for the first time, after ten fucking years, my heart hammered with a painful beat inside my chest.

Is she getting married? Are they getting married? Fuck.

My eyes darkened, clenching my fist and squeezing the invitation. I cannot allow their marriage to happen. No fucking way.

I will do all possibilities to destroy them both.
