"This is good!" He screeched and I shrunk back at the momentum of his voice.

"You don't have to yell that much," I said taking a sip of the hot cocoa that I made for the two of us.

"Of course, I have to. This is better than the ones I've made for myself."

"Why would I want to do that?" He asked.

"Maverick got it for you?" He asked and I looked up at him in surprise.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"He's my best friend. I know his taste in necklaces." He replied and I nodded my head picking up my mug again.
