JACKSON'S POV

Patricia barged into my office looking so frustrated and ready to kill anyone who got in her way at that very moment.

" What is the matter? " I asked

" Goddamnit!!!. Will this problem ever end? It has been one trouble to the other. " She said , slumping down on the couch in my office. " I thought we had everything well planned out. I was so, Jackson. We were so close and everything turned upside down. "

I furrowed my brows in confusion. " You are still not making any sense. " I said, sitting beside her. " Did our boys succeed in snatching away the DNA test result from them? "

" Yes, they did."

"So, if that is the case, why are you looking so worked up? "

" That is the problem, Jackson. Even with that, the plan backfired. "

" What do you mean it backfired? "

" Damn Aiden!!!. He was more prepared than we were. Just what in the world are we going to do to finally get this guy down? And that stupid specialist you brought sold us out. "

" He did what? " I asked in shock

"
