Livia Washington’s Point of View
Cold. Dim. People’s grizzle. Three light colors simultaneously wandered around the club where I was.
My taste has gone bitter. My face became grumpy as I drank the last shot of my whiskey.
“You’ve drunk almost one bottle of whiskey, Livia. Stop it,” Janice; a close and trusted friend of mine said.
I rolled my eyes in the air. Instead of having a one-shot glass, I got the bottle and sipped it directly. Whiskey is a hard liquor a certain person can’t drink moderately especially when her tolerance for alcohol is low. Just like me.
I invited Janice to come over and be with me. Above all, she’s the only person I knew to invite and besides, Janice is the only person who can understand me.
“Let’s just enjoy the night, Janice!”
She only rolled her eyes at me. “I can’t drink. No one will drop you off at your house, you know that. Unless, otherwise, your husband would.”
Hearing the keyword ‘husband’ made me ill. I suddenly remembered what happened yesterday when I came to the address he told me about.
For hours I’ve been here, I was just drowning myself in extreme sadness. It wouldn’t subside no matter how much I tried. It will continue to flow until I’m already sober and try to gaslight myself.
“You know what, it has never been your fault…” Janice softly told me.
I shook my head and didn't agree with what my friend had said. “My husband wouldn’t be able to forgive me. Now… he’s punishing me for what I’ve done.”
The paleness of my voice became calm. I was just looking down, Janice and I were alone in the corner of the club, sitting on the sofa; drinking until I became wasted and completely forgot about Archer.
Janice held my hand, she put her head on my shoulder as she caressed my fingers and then whispers solemnly.
“You helped him. His family’s company went bankrupt and just found a way to help him since he was your husband! Isn’t that the duty of being a married couple?”
I frustratedly glanced at her. “I do. I know that. I helped him, alright, but Archer didn’t know I became a surrogate mother just because I wanted to help him!”
Janice gave me a soft smile. She knows how I feel. Janice is the only person who knows what I’ve done. I was hired to become a surrogate mother for someone I met. She’s married and had trouble producing a child so I was hired by her.
Being a surrogate isn’t easy. Yet, I survived. Gianna hired me because she needs my help, and so do I. I was in a dire need of money so it was a lucrative move for both of us. However, after I bore the child, Archer found out.
He told me I cheated on him when in fact, I only carried the child for nine months! I never even met his husband, how can I have a sexual interaction with him?
He thought that I slept with a man. When in fact, I only did that in exchange for a billion dollars they are willing to pay me. While I tried explaining to Archer but he doesn’t want to listen. He thought that I was fooling her… finding another man whilst he’s in the midst of a crisis.
“I just carried the child… I didn’t even have a sexual interaction with the father. How come it became cheating?” I groaned, looking frustrated.
I bit my lower lip. My vision began to blur and Janice in front commenced to be twice her number. Damn, I’m drunk!
Janice, on the other hand, muttered rough curses as she scanned her phone inside her bag.
“Livia,” she said using her stern voice. “Behave here, alright? I’ll just answer a phone call and after that, we’re coming home. Got it?”
Even Janice's voice turns out to be a hazy echo for me. Without clearly understanding what she meant, I frustratedly nodded my head as I put my head on the table.
My head hurt, and my vision and hearing are vague. But the hell do I care? As long as I forget the memory that’s tormenting me, I’m fine with it.
Fifteen minutes have passed yet Janice isn’t back. I stood up and was nearly out of balance when I held on to someone’s arms, stood straight, and supported my weight.
I covered my mouth when I felt like I had to vomit. I felt nauseous and uncomfortable and the queasy feeling I got in my stomach made me feel like I want to puke. Without thinking enough, I came inside the bathroom, hurrying to enter a cubicle before kneeling, when I bumped into a strange man.
“Fuck…” I muttered softly.
“Are you alright?” said a male low baritone voice.
Low yet stern, firm, and dark.
His features are solid. I can’t see his face clearly due to my blurry vision but his incredible body structure amazed me. He was standing in front whilst I was sitting on the ground, completely out of reach.
“This is a lady's room!” I claimed.
He only scoffed and then put one hand on his waist. “You’re the one who’s in the wrong bathroom, woman,” he asserted.
I didn’t like the way he called me a woman. Furthermore, I hoisted my gaze and my eyes drifted accidentally to his unzipped pants. Although I can’t see what color underwear he was wearing, I noticed the huge thing he had beneath those clothes.
“Stand up. Next time, don’t drink too much and learn how to differentiate the ‘He’ and ‘She’ written on the doorway…” he said a lot, yet I couldn’t hear it properly.
I felt my body going feeble. I raised my hand, eager to zip his pants yet it touched the wrong one; more likely— the huge thing behind his pants. It is when my body fell on the ground, shutting my eyes as the darkness slowly ate me… a sign that I am now being drawn to oblivion.
Third Person's Point of View"Are you seriously telling me that now, Ajax? When the event start any moment from now?!" I blurted out as he was behind Livia, caressing her small waist and lifting the dress she was wearing. "Just a quick fuck, please. Just a quick one." Ajax couldn't stop himself from claiming Livia again. Today, the christening of their baby will going to happen and anytime soon, the visitors will arrive one by one especially when everything was settled yet she was cornered inside their room and he was asking for a good fuck. In just a span of a few minutes, Livia already got wet. Her hands are on the table while in front of them is a mirror. Livia could see their reflection on it, especially Ajax's broad shoulders. He was staring at her straight in the eyes through their reflection, and each push and pull Ajax made Livia moan. "Careful, baby! My dress might get torn!" Livia asserted, trying to remove Ajax's hands on her chest. It was a limited edition dress from
Livia’s Point of View ***MONTHS LATER***The whole baby section was filled with women finding better and cute clothes for their a month old baby and above. Anyhow, my eyes set on all the things that I bought at the shop where Steffany and I went to. Samantha and I already gave birth but she was busy with her child. I gave her an invitation to shop with me along with Janice but she couldn’t since her due date is near. It was when Steffany and I were the only ones who shopped whilst Ajax’s mom, Aunt Andrea, is the one who’s looking out to our kids. “That would be $2,789 in total, ma’am.” The cashier asserted. “Here.”“I received $3,000.”Paying everything using my own money was beyond my expectation. I used all of it to buy my children’s needs when Ajax was giving me a monthly budget but I didn’t spend most of it. Instead, I stock it for Andre’s studies as he will begin his grade school where Ajax graduated. Steffany and I have gotten close. Andre doesn’t even want to let her go but
Livia’s Point of View “I can do it!” I asserted whilst taking the plate to the sink. Ajax groaned. It was when his eyes shut directly at the maids who were in the dining area. “What’s the purpose of having a lot of mates when I’m paying them well but you’re doing household chores? Damn it!” he exclaimed before combing his hair using his fingers. I rolled my eyes, didn’t let him do whatever he wanted but instead, I went overboard and then halted him. “Now you’re cursing at me, huh?”His expressions melted. It was when he tried to reach for my elbows but to my anger, I gave him the plate I was holding forcefully whilst our family were watching us together. I was mad at Ajax! “Fine, do it yourself then! Curse at me again and I’ll throw you out of this penthouse!” I irritatedly asserted. “That’s not what I meant! I’m not cursing at you!” My eyes widened hearing the tone of his voice. Now, I can’t imagine he’s shouting at me. My jaw dropped as a couple of silence surpassed us both wh
Ajax’s Point of View “Where are they?” I consulted my friend, Caspian, who was in charge and had his men behind us. The warehouse was dark, but we could see some men around it and seeing that there was only a light on the second floor made me clench my jaw. Before we came here, we made sure that we had a plan beforehand. Otherwise, we’ll get screwed and I can’t risk Livia getting into trouble and severe conditions. “It seems like they are on that spot.” I heard one of them say, “Move quietly.” the leader of this operation stated. Our initial plan was to come inside but let a spy go first to see what’s the condition. Archer was also here, along with the man he brought that literally came from the army. I don’t even know why the fuck I approved of him meddling with this thing when I can handle it myself. However, I just let him be because I could sense his sincerity as long as he wouldn’t execute something that might irritate me. “Use this, Ajax.” Caspian said, giving me the bullet
Archer’s Point of View My blood boils. I was raging in anger seeing the man across me was Archer. He has been on my sight for the past few weeks and frequently joins meetings where I was also there. The moment that the meeting ended, many people started to leave until it was only between Archer and I inside the conference room. I was about to leave when Rue hurriedly came inside the conference room. "Ready the car. We'll go somewhere else." I stated whilst looking coldly at him. "You can't leave, sir. We received very devastating news," he muttered with such worry in her eyes. "Livia disappeared. It was seen in the CCTV that she was kidnapped and the driver was their ally. It seems like Gianna was a spy and we didn't know she would attack us like this!" My jaw dropped. Everything about me crashed knowing Livia vanished. Archer and I couldn't believe that he wanted to conduct an investigation and told me to wait but I didn't wait so I opposed him. Livia is my woman. She's the love
Livia’s Point of View My body was not in its best condition the moment I moved. I feel dizzy… my body was sore as I couldn’t move from where I was. Slowly opening my eyes was the horrific thing I did after the blur vision was set aside. Terrifying feelings crept within my body. Realizing I was inside a cell sent goosebumps seeing the location where I currently was being imprisoned is for those evil who deserve to be here. My feet and my hands were tied whilst the floor was creeping cold to touch my bareback. I took every chance I had to stand up, ogling at every corner I am with and finally seeing a shadow of a woman made me burst in anger. “Take her out.” Her cold gestures made each man from nowhere open the cell where I was. The smell of the place stinks as if I was in a warehouse that was full of dead rats. Gianna showed up in the dark, bearing heavy make up whilst polished well with her not so short elegant dress. Her hair was tied up, whilst she had dark eyeshadows on her e
