Zander’s POV

Logan played so well last night and helped his team to a 4 – 1 victory. I can’t believe he’s almost 17. In two months, it will be two years since they moved in with us. I’m so glad to have him in my life.

After the game, Nathan and Amelie headed to the van with four of the Quints while I waited in the lobby with Aurora, who was toddling around at my feet. Eliza also wanted to wait for Logan. Logan walked towards us from the locker room.

“Great game, bruh,” I said, giving him a fist pump.

“Thanks, it helps to have the best cheering section ever,” Logan said, scooping up Aurora in his arms. She giggled at him.

“Did you hear me cheering, Loggie?” Eliza asked.

“The whole team heard you, Eliza,” Logan chuckled. “You’re so loud!”

Eliza grinned, all proud of herself.

I glanced at my phone to see if Isabella had texted me. No message, I sighed.

“It’s too bad, Isabella couldn’t come,” Logan announced.

“Yeah, she had plans tonight,” I replied.
