Rachel’s POV

“You have no respect for your wife. How dare you bring her here!” Mr. Frank yelled at J in anger.

I couldn’t say a word—all I did was stare at her. At my husband's mistress.

“You approved her as my mistress, remember?” J said with a smirk.

“But I never told you to bring her here in front of your wife,” Mr. Frank clenched his fist, his anger visible. “And that was even before you got married—not now that you have a wife!”

J clicked his tongue, his eyes sparkling with fury. “Be responsible for your actions for once.”

“She won’t be coming with us, and that’s final!” Mr. Frank declared.

“How do you even expect the trip to go on like this?” His voice was filled with frustration, and his gaze shifted to me.

“And you really expect her to go back after spending so much money on her flight here?” J’s eyes burned with anger.

Mr. Frank took a deep breath. “I’ll reimburse her. Just send her back,” he said, not even sparing her a glance. I doubted if he had the entire time.
