Chapter 08.A DIFFERENT APPROACH.Brianna's POV.I tingled my fingers and toes as I watched Morris go through the results in his grip one after the other, all while standing. I noticed that each result he brought up seemed to deepen the frown on his forehead that the previous one brought. It was as if he found it difficult to make out anything meaningful from the results on the papers which he held, making it rather obvious that the results were a sharp contrast to what he expected it to be. However, I just wanted him to let me know what was going on, and not just leave me thinking about a million and one ways that my condition had gotten worse. “Is there something wrong?” I asked, in a curious tone of voice as I couldn't wait anymore for him to finish going through the results. “Does it look bad?” He sighed, took off his glasses and wiped the corners of his eyes with the handkerchief which he picked up from his desk. From that sigh, I knew that things had gone from bad to worse.
