I could see the pain, regret and anger in Amanda’s eyes before she turned her back on me and Steven and went up to her room.

Steven didn't seem to care about that. After a while, Lourdes came out and approached me.

"What will Steven want you cook?" she asked.

"He didn't say anything,"

"Is that so? I'll just cook," Lourdes said.

I know that Lourdes knew that Steven and I have something. I knew because Steven doesn't care if everyone knows about us.

"Ria, I hope you’ll not get offended to what I am gonna say to you. I know you're a good kid, but what’s really your intention to Steven?" Lourdes asked me which surprised me.

"I didn't mean it but I heard you talking to your son once." She added
