Chapter 10: Fiery Temptations

The room filled an atmosphere thick with unspeakable tension.

After their passionate kiss, Vivian was overcome with a sense of regret. Doubts crept into her mind, questioning whether it was all just an illusion, a fleeting infatuation with this man.

Deep within, Vivian knew that she couldn't simply brush aside this man and the emotions he had aroused within her. It was a battle of two emotions, a clash between the craving for love and the haunting fear of heartbreak from her past.

"Can I go home now?" Vivian asked hesitantly, feeling a tinge of embarrassment for her actions.

Louis sensed the change in her and stood up, looking at her with understanding.

"The doctor say you can go home once you wake up... and can I take you home?" he said.

Vivian nodded and got out of bed, following him as they went through the discharge process.
