I struggled to get my body moving and hit the button on the bedside table.

"Good evening, Aunt Elsie? Are you there?" I politely called the other line and then waited for him to respond.

It's excellent that Jaxson has been using advanced technology throughout this bedroom. Since it is so distant from our room, I wouldn't have been able to call Aunt Elsie if I wasn't strong enough to go down to the kitchen.

"Hello, Mrs. Madrigal. My mother isn't here, do you need anything?"

"Angel?" I asked with my brows colliding. "Why isn't Aunt Elsie there? Did she go somewhere?" I became worried because this is the first time that she is not the one who answered my call.

"Well, technically she's not here. But she's also not outside the house. I think she's taking care of Mr. Madrigal that just came home, ma'am. Would you like me to call her?" He calmly answered with his soft and airy voice.
