“Wait, what?!” Kelvin couldn't believe his ears. “You're joking right?”“I'm glad I'm not.” Sorin replied, proudly.“How? How is this.. possible?” Kelvin stuttered, his tone evident with a mixture of shock and excitement.“Well, I had some help from a very old friend.” Sorin replied, obviously proud of himself.Kelvin narrowed his eyes, “Old friend? Who is he? Do I know this old friend of yours?” He asked, curiously.“Yeah. He's someone you know.” He nodded. “You can take a wild guess if you like.” He urged Kelvin, who then began to think about different options.“No way.” He suddenly shook his head, as a name popped up in his mind. His eyes narrowed as he said, “Don't tell me it's Dave.”Sorin chuckled, seeing as he got it right on first guess.“Geez!!!! How???” Kelvin couldn't contain his shock. “I never knew you guys were still in contact.”“Well, I had helped him a few times and he had promised to pay me back…” Sorin began to explain, and Kelvin nodded, listening attentively. “So,
“No way!” Kelvin's eyes remained widened, and he couldn't close his mouth, hearing everything Sorin had just told him.“Daisy did all of that? She said all that?” He kept asking because he just couldn't believe his ears.“Yes, she did. I wouldn't be lying to you now, would I?” Sorin replied, and Kelvin shook his head.“That girl is something else. Damn!” Kelvin exclaimed, still trying to contain his shock.“That's not even all.” Sorin spoke further.“Wait, there's more?” Kelvin was beyond surprised.“Yeah… I found out that she planted a mole in the house just so she could know everything that was going on with us. I'm surprised you didn't realize. Anyway, that was why I had to be really harsh and insensitive to Drea before she began to threaten her.” He explained to a shocked Kelvin.“She didn't deserve it. I was just stupid.” He added, taking responsibility for his actions.“Shit!” Kelvin muttered. “But you know I warned you about Daisy from the onset. I told she was too involved wit
FLASHBACK: PRESS CONFERENCE NIGHT**THE COLE'S PRIVATE MANSION**Leaving the house, Sorin headed to the garage for his car. He unlocked the car and got in but as soon as he ignited the engine, his phone chimed as he got a notification of a message. He slipped it out of his pocket and checked for the message. Color drained from his face as he saw the content of the message sent to him by none else, but Daisy. He swiftly turned off the engine, and dashed out of the car, heading back into the house.Getting in, he met Daisy right where he left her. “What the hell is this, Daisy?” He yelled angrily, raising his phone to her face.“I thought you said you didn't love that girl.” She raised an eyebrow. “Just look at you running in like your life is on the line.” She chuckled, menacingly.“That doesn't answer my question, Daisy! He fired at her. “What the hell did you send to me? What the hell does it mean? Have you lost your mind?” He questioned angrily.“Oh, please…” She shunned him, and g
Kelvin led Sorin to the balcony at the topmost part of the building, where they could both have some privacy. Leaning on the railings, they stood in silence, the wind blowing around them, as they struggled to find words to break the awkward stillness between them.Frustrated by the awkward silence, Sorin finally decided to speak up. Staring at nothing in particular, his eyes unfocused, his voice laced with hurt and betrayal, he said, “How could you, Kelvin? How could you keep something as serious as this away from me? How could you betray me like this?”Taken aback, Kelvin frowned as his head snapped in Sorin's direction. “What are you talking about? Betray you? What do you mean by that? What did I do?” He asked curiously.“Oh, please don't act all ignorant. I know you're about to pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about, but I won't be fooled.” Sorin stated, his tone serious.“Well, I'm not pretending, but one thing I’m having issues with is the way you're acting all conce
Anne angrily turned to Kelvin, glaring dangerously at him as she said, “You did this, didn't you? How could you?”“Anne, calm down. I promise you, I know nothing about this.” He replied, quickly defending himself.“That's crap!” She snapped angrily. “So how did he know she was here if you had no hand in this?” “I don't know. Maybe he had someone to secretly trail me or something.” He stated, thinking of different possibilities. She scoffed, and narrowed her eyes as she asked, “And you expect me to believe that? Really?” “Please calm down, Anne.” He tried to ease up the tension, but she definitely wasn't in the mood to listen to him.“Don't tell me to calm down!” She snapped angrily.Watching everything unfold, the Doctor had to speak up, “I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'm quite confused. What is going on? Is anything the matter?” “It's nothing, Doc. It's just a misunderstanding.” Kelvin quickly responded.“What do you mean?” She glared at Kelvin. Speaking through gritted teeth, she
***LOS ANGELES***Still in his office, Sorin paced as he impatiently waited for news from Simon. He had given him thirty minutes to get back to him concerning the secret task he gave to him, yet hours had passed, and still Simon hadn't given Sorin a call yet.He yanked his tie loose, ripped it off, and flung it into the sofa with a frustrated gesture. He then stopped pacing, and began to tap angrily on his table as he thought of what to do.His office had become his second home since Daisy had refused to give him rest of mind, with threats on my life each time she noticed Sorin was acting distant to her.He believed staying away from her under the guise of “having too much work to do at the office” would help keep him sane. So, he would stay at the office till very late at night when he was sure she would be deep in sleep or sometimes, he would just pass the night at a hotel with the excuse that work was too hectic and too much to be abandoned. His phone suddenly rang, snapping him ou
