Evelyn's POV

I avoided Adrian for the rest of the day. Not like I had to really try, at least. After that whole fiasco with Bianca overtaking our master bedroom, he called for a moving company to same-day pack and deliver her belongings to our place, while he helped her get adjusted.

I couldn't stand the sight of him favoring another woman over his own wife. So, I made sure to give him the same treatment he was giving me.

Even when he tried to talk to me, I ignored him.

"Eve, are you thirsty?" He called out from the kitchen at one point.

I didn't answer him, though.

"Hey, I'm about to order some takeout." He asked when it was close to dinner time. "Did you want anything in particular?"

Still, I didn't entertain his questions. What did it matter anyway? Even if I had given Adrian my opinion, Bianca could come in and interject with her own ideas, and he would take her side without another thought.
