13. New Attraction

Leena's POV

“Why isn't he back?” I groaned as I checked the time and grumpily stepped down from the bed.

It was 2:35am.

I have been drowsily waiting for him but I hadn't heard the bell ring or car engine from the garage.

I wrapped myself in my sleeping wear and went downstairs.

“Should I call him? He left in a hurry though.” I didn't know why I was anxious and worried about him.

I stepped out of the living room and stood at the entrance, scanning the yard with my eyes.

I spotted the car he had left with, it was in the garage.

“Is he back?” I muttered to myself as I returned to the living room.

I checked the guest rooms downstairs but was welcomed by its silence.

“Where is he?” I grew worried, my hands trembling as I tried to dial his number.

“Still awake, princess?” His voice gave me sharp shivers and my phone fell from my hand.

He turned on the light in the dining room, he was wearing his sleeping wear too.

He grabbed the glass cup and approached me.

“I… I didn't know you were here…”
