SIX YEARS AGO

Alessa dragged her feet as she headed back to her room. She was mad at Rico and didn't want to see him.

She didn't even get to hold her babies for long.

She got to the door to her room and slowly walked in.

Immediately, everyone in the room rushed to her. Aliyah stood in front of them as they all gathered behind her. Alessa looked at all of them surprised.

“How are you? How are the babies? Are they okay?” Aliyah rushed her questions. Alessa looked at the other ladies waiting for an answer too.

“I’m okay, my babies are okay too. It's a boy and a girl,” she replied and they all cheered happily which surprised Alessa. She had no idea a lot of them actually liked her. They barely talk to her.

“So why are you sad? You look sad.” One of them said and Alessa nodded.

“Hmm. They took them from me and said I won’t get to see them until I am done here,” she replied with her voice trembling.

“Oh.” they chorused sadly.

The table was quiet, and no one said anything. They all just kept exchanging looks. For some reason, they were all intimidated. Including Bryan’s parents. Since no one spoke, Alessa decided to speak.“Good, now let’s talk business. How far have we gone with the Aurora project?” she asked and Mr. Hart cleared his throat.“Bryan?” he called.“It's going well, we will have a meeting soon to discuss the update,” he said and Alessa nodded without looking at him. Why don't you tell us about what happened?” Lydia asked and Alessa paused. She glanced at her children to see their reaction. She lied to them, she never told them she was married to Bryan. Would that make them realize everything? They are smart, of course, they would put the two together and understand everything. Surprisingly, they weren't looking at her. They were both focused on their

  • The Billionaire’s Regret   Aria & Aiden

SIX YEARS AGO“Thank you,” Alessa said to Aliyah as she helped her with her vest. Aliyah smiled at her and handed her the teaser gun.“Ready?” Aliyah asked. Alessa nodded in response and they both walked to the rest of the students gathered in the hallway. They arrived and met the children from the other building standing opposite them. They all wondered what was going on or what the training would be. Madam Olga stood between them and waited for everyone to arrive. A few minutes ago, she informed them to get dressed in a room filled with vests and teaser guns. When everyone had arrived, Madam Olga was ready to tell them what they were about to do. “This is the easiest training of all. All you need to do is survive thirty minutes without getting shot with a teaser. Every one of you needs to protect a child, If your child gets shot then you fail, if you get shot, you fail. When you fail, you start again and must reach the end of the maze within thirty minutes. If you fail this then

SOMEWHERE IN MEXICOHe stared at the man in his presence who had a bandage wrapped around his hand and his head bowed. He waited for a few seconds before finally speaking up.“So she cut off your fingers as a message back to me?” he asked and the man looked up at him but managed not to keep eye contact. No one keeps eye contact with him.“Ye… yes sir.” he stuttered.“Hmmm, she didn't kill you,” he said, sounding a little bit surprised.“You sound surprised sir.” the man said and he nodded in response.“Yes, you are supposed to be dead,” he replied. The man blinked rapidly and cleared his throat.“I did everything you asked sir.” the man said and he nodded.“Everything? Did you hurt her daughter?” he asked.“I… I didn't. I had to knock her out and… ““So you hurt Aria,” he said. The man gulped as he started to feel hot within. He wasn't doing anything but his voice alone was intimidating. The man was about to speak again when he pulled out a gun and shot him in the head. “Hmm.” h

Tracy screamed as Alessa pulled the trigger. Her eyes widened in shock. Bianca wailed. Alessa took a picture of his body before tucking her phone in her pocket. She looked up at Bryan and in a flash, she shot his phone out of his hand. Bryan flinched and groaned in pain. Alessa looked around before tucking her gun back in her coat. “I didn't mean to ruin the party.” She shrugged and looked at Tracy.“Tracy, are you coming?” she asked. Tracy froze without responding. “We… we should get… get help for Bianca.” Tracy stuttered.“Oh, she will be fine. It's just a scratch. Come on.” Alessa said to her. Tracy looked at Bryan, waiting for him to say something but he didn't. Tyler also didn't. They just kept staring at Alessa. Tracy slowly walked towards her and Alessa smiled at her as she got to her. Alessa held her hand and pulled her out of the building. As Alessa drove, Tracy was quiet. She wasn't as shaky as she was earlier.“You can ask questions now, and I will answer them all

  • The Billionaire’s Regret   A Party

Alessa pulled over in front of a building which Tracy found odd because it looked abandoned. There were other cars parked in the parking lot too but the environment was quiet. “Are you sure we are at the right location?” Tracy asked as they both got out of the car.“Yes,” she replied and walked towards the building, Tracy looked around again before trailing behind her. They got in the building and walked down a quiet hallway. Tracy had a lot of questions but she knew she would get no answers from Alessa. They got in front of an elevator door and Tracy noticed it had a passcode that needed to be entered before the door opened. Alessa pressed the code and the elevator doors opened. She walked in and turned to Tracy who was still standing and staring. “There are cute men,” Alessa said and Tracy smiled before entering the elevator too. Alessa knows how wild Tracy is, she is just being calm because they aren't so cool yet. Alessa pulled out a car and placed it on a scanner in the el
